I didn't. Look closer. Or were you asking The Hermit? Pretty good catch, regardless.

I, on the other hand, have a good friend who is a biological female currently transitioning to male and dressing accordingly. I would trust him with the care of my child. Also, when you characterize the interaction as "...a guy wanting to dress like a woman and wants to be with a child", this makes it sound like you describing a person with an undesirable motive. I'm sure that was unintentional. |

Wigs, big problems and now grunting and sweating. There may be more sexes than I understand except there are just two genetic markers for them. Christian doctors don't understand biology the way atheist ones do. People should have to accommodate anyone using their toilet regardless of sex, equipment, personal disposition, gender of the day or ability to stand or sit while doing their business. Any separation of bathrooms for gender, pseudo gender, identity is the same as racial segregation. People in wigs need our understanding too. Bruce Springsteen is the new Woody Guthrie and can speak truth to power through venue selection and NC will now be a no Wicked zone - punishment deserved. And, women's restrooms are not filled with flowers but have poo on the floor. It's all unhinged anyway, pun partially intended. I say we blame it all on the Nazis and Fox News and be done with it. It was all tongue in cheek and meant as a joke. Lighten up, Francis.
As to the bathroom thing, it's not about being clever. As I stated before there are two ways to handle this - accommodate trannys with a unisex bathroom or force everyone else to allow trannys to use the bathroom of their choice. In SF, they did the unisex thing. In NC they purposely forced the issue that all people conform to what the trannys wanted. Which is a better solution? The latter is the typical SJW, take no prisoners approach to advance the agenda. In SF, a city with a lot more trannys than Charlotte took the reasoned approach. It works fine. All the outrage over NC misses this point. There are rational solutions to make everyone happy, except the SJW. Why not that approach? Everyone wants to make NC a national issue on rights. Rights work both ways. SF made it work. Dump on NC, but both sides are shortsighted. That's my point. |

The fact that Springsteen cancelled the show was partially for publicity, but not the kind you seem to think it was. It got people talking - much like in this forum - about the issue. He was raising awareness about something that was important to him. His guitarist spoke out on the issue after the show was cancelled. Just because someone is wealthy or famous, it doesn't make their opinions any less valid. He had a venue to do something that would show his support for the LGBT community, and he did that.
And while I get being disappointed at missing the chance to see him play, let's not focus on feeling bad for the ticket holders. They received a full refund. The focus is on people who are being told by the government that their feelings aren't admissible, merely because they're different from the social norm.

Bryon Adams tickets are going at hugh discounts for that show and you could get main floor 8 row at this late date. Unlike Bruce, I suspect this one serves two purposes. The seat map shows few sold. Timing is everything.
