Sorry let me rephrase 30 items...not books... If I bought 30 books and they were all good And had good material... I wouldn't be searching here...

I'm currently writing a book with some great impromptu mentalism ideas. Smile

Not sure if propless though, everyone defines prop in a different way.

Cheers,

Propless is done literarly with nothing but words (could be done naked)
Impromptu is done with physical objects but ones that can be borrowed anytime anywhere

I know that's not technically true but for the sake of understanding each other we should stick with those definitions.

Michael Zarek has shared a good list. I like to do effects with borrowed business cards. I have released a couple of effects. Check out the links in my signature. They are not propless though, but they don't require you to carry anything with you.

It certainly is. However I prefer Max Maven's approach from his "Verbal Control" booklet.
And complementing it with his DVD "Multiplicity" you have the full package.

Here's the copy for False Messiah and a link to performance footage. I would say this is 90% in performance and works best for close up. However, it is as sure fire as it can get thanks to it being a mechanical process.

False Messiah is my first limited edition hard bound book containing some of my greatest work to date.

Only 200 copies of this book will ever be printed. Effects include:

1. Prop less Name guess – You guess the name the spectator is thinking of completely prop less – no billets, centre tears or anything written down. They give you a few characteristic traits of the person they are thinking of and you reveal the name. [This and other effects in the book use an update on the Ouija “re-frame” which takes this approach to an entirely new level. There is no longer any need for your spectator to name multiple letters].

2.Spectator name guess – The new “re-frame” allows your spectator to now guess your thoughts. This is a reversal of the previous name guess effect. The way this and other spectator as mind reader effects in this book are structured is what makes this work truly break-through.

3.Star sign reveal – one of the most direct and simplified star sign divinations available – no anagrams.

4.Reverse star sign – Spectator uses their intuition to read you and guess your star sign.

5.Spectator pin guess – They guess your pin number.

6.Card force – Completely verbal method for forcing a playing card mentally. Including a version of TOD without the need for a deck of cards.

7.Frame up frame – a way to frame a stooge situation theatrically.

Essays from Peter Turner and Fraser. Edited and formatted professionally by Preston Heller.

Each copy will be numbered and sent in protective packaging.

These will go quickly so get your copy as soon as you can.

“I absolutely LOVE your new book False Messiah Fraser! One of the top 3 books I've read this year. You should be proud of yourself...but not me. I'm kind of ****ed off at you now.” Jerome Finley

Ian Rowland's "50:50 Fantasia" fits the bill nicely. Meticulously scripted for both stage and close up, in the hands of an experienced, confident performer it can be a stunningly entertaining routine.

If I can offer a shameless plug, you might also take a look at "Triangulation" for a unique twist on equivoque.

As mentioned above, I have also been getting great reactions from e'voque. So direct! Also, if you haven't already, check out 7 by Bryn Reynolds (The Safwan Papers). A surefire way to get the spec to 'freely' select a predicted playing card without a deck in sight.
