Hello Friends,
Has anyone of you read the book "Ahead of Pack" by Jack Avis? The description sounds very interesting. Did you like it? Whats your opinion about it? Greetings from Austria Thomas |

In the 1960's Jack Avis was the sought after material. Have not heard of this book or I would have grabbed it up.

I have the book. Its good.
Mainly is about card effects. It also has a nice center tear, a very easy but limited approach to magic squares and a forcing matrix, and good electronical code sistem. It’s nice to see Avis and Jones thinking about some classical routines. |

I'm pretty sure there are reviews of it elsewhere in the Café (about a year ago). I have have it: it's excellent (you won't be disappointed). More details here: http://www.ianrowland.com/ go to "Magicians Only" then "items To buy"
