Hi everyone,

This is a cool little gimmick!

The angles are really good and the techniques for the multiple changes are explained thoroughly.
I like the one handed color change best. That looks very visual and it frees up one hand, which is always nice for routining.

I like the fact that they took the time to really explain the construction of it as I am not a regular DIY kind of guy.
I do my own loops and basic gimmicked cards but that's about it. That being said,... I think I can do this.

The explanation was at times a bit awkwardly shot, but you don't miss any important visual points of the making. Just that sometimes Josh drops the hands out of view and it takes a few seconds to switch to the other camera. Other then that, the quality of the video and filming is good.

In conclusion, I see myself using this.

All the best
Aljaž

oh snap we need magnets?

Aljaz - Glad you really like it! If you have any questions, you can always hit me up!
Jackaboy - I cover exactly where I get my magnets to make the gimmick. I'm also working with my supplier on getting a bulk order, so I can make them available on my site as well. Additionally, I've had a few people contact me about making them a premade gimmick. if they aren't fans of DIY, so feel free to e-mail me if you're interested.

Hey guys. I recently met Josh at Battle of Magicians. I can't say enough about Counterfeit! It's easy to use, I can keep it in my wallet. It will soon be my go-to effect.

Keep an eye on Josh. He could be the next Mark Mason of gimmicks! Seriously, great trick and Josh stands behind it. I had a couple of questions, and he responded to me very quickly. I'd buy any of his tricks.

I have been doing this for a few months now and it has been getting amazing reactions! It is very easy to make and I always keep it in my wallet. Josh is an amazing magician and as people have previously said, I would purchase anything that he publishes!

I have to agree with ari... The thing I like most about this is the reliability of the gimmick, and the fast action of the change. AND, the change happens in full view with no folding. For anyone wondering the advantages of this gimmick over others Smile

Thanks Kyle!

Next week I'll be filming some live performances of this, so if anyone has any specific requests as to what change they want to see, feel free to let me know. Also just a reminder, this will work with plastic bills. Send me an email with a screenshot of your purchase and I'm more than happy to help ya out!

When a lot of material like this comes on the market, I worry that it just looks good on video and isn't actually practical. Well, I've seen various iterations of Counterfeit since Josh first started working on it, and I can personally say that its a real worker. It's clever, not terribly difficult and insanely visual. I really recommend it.

Thanks Chris! It has definitely been several years in the making to get it to where it is today
