I recently bought a large collection of magic that included a vintage floating table. (Nothing like Losander's. The top of this one is covered in cloth.)
It is obviously the kind that "floats" with the assistance of a ring that locks into a hole in the table top. Unfortunately, there was no ring included with the table. Any idea where I could find a replacement? Since the hole is reasonably well hidden beneath the cloth, it's hard for me to even determine what shape/size of protuberance would have to come out of the bottom of the magician's ring. (I'm not particularly "floating table" knowledgeable, so I don't have any idea whether it's some sort of standard size.) Any suggestions? |

Sounds like an Owen's Floating Table, you would have to contact them.
If it was very old, then it may be a Thayer, which Owen's owns the rights to as well. http://owenmagic.com/Spirit___Mental/Spi......l_3.html Owen's Picture of prop. Click here to view attached image. |
