This looks very cool and covert. I could see myself using this.

Really cool tech. Question is whether this is really worth the extra effort as everything in demo can be done with a standard marked deck.

I don't know. I really like stuff like this.

But it is very pricey and only instructions/routines in French ? What happens when you run out of paper on the pad?

Also, with a marked deck there is a chance the spec could find the mark, with this, not so much.

What an absurd price!
If they would have invented it, I could perhaps understand. But the principle is not new. Many years ago ( probably 10 or 15) I bought something similar, but with a plexiglass clipboard and a deck of Bee (I think) cards. The effect and method are the same. To my opinion this is way overpriced!
Forgive me any language mistakes.

You can make your own for a fraction of the price, ink plus coloured screen for $19.99, enough ink for 5 decks.

Actuallu its priced about right, a deck similarly marked is about that price....the gimmick is in the pad so you just replace the paper (come on how hard must it be to replace paper in a standard looking pad?)
considering you would normally have to have special sunglasses or contact lenses to read this the idea of using the pad is bloody genius... ....think about it you can use this as a dual reality effect...show the pad to a spectator...with instructions to l*** through the !@#$ and wow your spectator becomes mindreader. Frankly I think this is one onf the best ideas ive seen in years. And no its NOTHING like using a marked deck with this you could read the marking s from 10 foot away....your all missing the point. Gamblers pay hundreds of dollars for a deck marked like this and use contacts or sunglasses especially adapted... ....the fact we can use a justified prop to see the markings is frankly genius
May your darkness come quickly

This appears to be nothing more than John Cornelious "Dream Deck" reinvented.
