Thanks to Paul at Vanish Magazine for the great review of my and Mark Parker's collaboration which is available as an instant download from Lybrary.com and Magicshop.co.uk.
Full review is in the June 2016 edition of Vanish Magazine. If anyone is interested in reviewing the manuscript for the ebook section of the forum please message me. "Labyrinth - the illusionary journey of a lady through ever changing narrow pathways within a small elevated structure culminating with a surprise vanish." |

No workshop plans makes is worthless to the average home builder.

Hi Bill,
The manuscript was never intended for the home builder. As Freefallillusion1 rightly states this is a design for the seasoned performer OR the student of magic who wants to be inspired by new effects and use them as a springboard. |

I too have the plan and yes there are aspects of the build which are beyond my ability, something I am sure is true of many plans. If you have the cash of course you can go to an established builder who has a good reputation in the business. This will be very expensive as you are paying for their time, skill and expertise which is rightly valuable.
A compromise route on this illusion is to have the complex stuff done by a local engineering workshop. I have used such businesses myself in the past and quite frankly these guys are delighted to be doing something different from the run of the mill stuff they do daily. Also I have found them to be very competitive price wise. You will only give them the specs for the parts required and so the secret of the illusion will not be revealed. All you need to do is make a full size mock-up out of scrap/cheap materials to ensure it fits the person going in. |
