Unless the standard size is not correct and Vistaprint is the standard size? Going smaller for the gimmick is wise, you can always cut a stack of Vista Print cards down to size to fit but not the other way around.

I just watched the on line instructions. Wow!!! Suoer cool. Sneaky. Very sneaky. A classic in the making withwith no moving parts, no batteries and nothing to replace, except your own business cards or blank cards. The peek is natural and easy. Highly recommended.

While this works fine and does what it's supposed to do, I have to be honest and say I'm not crazy about it.
Though the gimmick and method is different, it handles in much the same way as Looch's 'Hollow'. And for me, Hollow is better. With Vision, there is a small visual discrepancy in the stack, especially in certain lighting conditions, and also the card must be put in the stack in a specific way. Hollow has no visual discrepancy and is more flexible with the returning of the card, in fact the spectator can put it in themselves. Also Hollow is easy to make yourself. If this works for you, great -- it is indeed a fine method as far as they go, it's just that I think Hollow is better for this type of handling. Sorry to be the dissenting view here, but IMO if you have Hollow, you may not find an advantage in Vision.

With HOLLOW I wouldn´t let the spectator put the card back, cause he could lift the stack too much to discover something. But there is no visual discrepancy! My handling with VISION is different. I let the spectator put the card back into the stack by lifting at the break a little bit. There is nothing to find! I also let the rubberband around the stack, like I do it with HOLLOW. Yes, VISION and HOLLOW is similar in handling, but each has it advantages and disadvantages. Both are great! Anyway, the gimmick that comes with VISION is just brilliant! |

I like Sean's stuff and this looks and sounds like a solid method, but isn't there a bigger flaw with this type of method, which is that you are holding a stack of cards, they take a card out and then return it to a stack. I always think it feels a little odd having them return it to the stack when they could just put it in their pocket. I don't think Hollow or Vision overcome this with a logical explanation. I still think that a billet switch is the best way to achieve the same thing, but its good to have more than one option.

If you do a switch and you have a very sceptical spectator, he will maybe ask you if this is still his card he wrote on. Any method has it´s flaws, in the end what matters is what you make out of it. For example a "name/place" routine. It makes sense to put the card to be eliminated into the stack! |

The huge advantage with Vision is that 100% of the image is available to be seen and with ample opportunity to do so.

John,
The method behind Vision is very different to the hollow methods. Also, with the hollow methods I have experienced problems of snagging, with cards getting caught up in the frame. There is no such problem with Vision. |

I've been using this for about 4 weeks now and its a permanent fixture in my arsenal of peek devices.
To say this is brilliant is an understatement, I work mainly close up, strolling & Parlour and this has introduced some really strong mentalism into my routines. Vision works really well every time in any environment, even in poorly lit venues. When I heard about this I knew it would have a place in my acts and I wasn't wrong. Absolutely brilliant Sean, Love it mate. |

Yeah, to be clear, different method, but same handling.
