I think, as well, Alexander Koblikov's set IS probably 'the most perfect juggling set recorded'.

Every second,..simply,...perfect.

Challenging, Technical,...but I find him boring, 'studied', and predictable.

Try to remember him,...as 'a trendsetter'.,...in the shoes of Bobby May.
In the 70's and early 80's,...HE set 'the standards'.
I like his technical skills, as well as his silent humour.
Very tight juggling.

This starts a bit....'conventional',...
but at the two minute mark,... : )

He hit this,...night for night,...never dropped.
Very consistent,,..very lively Juggler.

..BUT (!),...in real Life,

THIS IS ANYTHING BUT TRUE!

I had the 'un-easy' pleasure, of juggling with him....twice.

...talk about humiliation!

I suppose, I'm 15 years his...'elder'.

His was a really nice,....CALM,...open guy.

Really.

AND,...he showed me two bits.

1. A cute trick from his father,..Lou Gatto.

'Two Ball Juggling',....it's NOT what you think!

(Arms are crossed,...AND REMAIN CROSSED!...BOTH balls are thrown at the same time. ...CROSSING.
Balls are caught. Proccess is repeated. .....Arms NEVER un-cross. : )
Nice trick,...VERY....'dis-arming!)

2. He told me,..and showed me: the importance of returning my arms/hands to a 'set position'...EVERY TIME.
Working with this thought,...improves the throws
He was right.

Maybe 'the attitude' projected in his Show, had a lot to do with the Stages he worked on(?).
Maybe 'the Audiences' expected,....wanted,...this?

Anyway,...in 'real life', the guy is,...'was',...really öK.
