Is any using Jim Steinmeyer's menu prediction Dining Out? I love the effect but am not fond of the revelation of the prediction using large stage bills. Any thought's on revealing the total prediction? I thought maybe a large restaurant bill? Looking for something visible from stage. I'd love to hear your thoughts...

I had a version of this I used to lecture on and put a lot of work into a commercial release that nerve came out. Steinmeyer beat me to the punch. While my system was slightly different it was too close to warrant a release. I have a box of menus laying around still. I made a version that used three different menus. They'd choose the restaurant, then choose the items. Inside the envelopes would be both cash and a detailed receipt of what was ordered.

I have used this in shows and it plays very strongly. I preferred to do a presentation where I mention I always tipped 20%. When the money was predicted at the end...the cash only matched the total of the order when adding 20% gratuity . It was a nice close to the routine and provided that extra bit of drama I felt the routine needs to really play for an audience.
