I recently bought Inject, after a long debate with myself. In short, it was worth the $50 price tag.
Note this review is all based on solo performing, no partner. Effect: There are many, so I would look at Greg's post or the App/Play Store description. There are also a few more not listed there. My favorite effects in order are... 1. ACAAN 2. Houdini Cards 3. Actors/City Prediction (same ideas, same process, different effect) My least favorite is... App Store Swipe Effect Review ACAAN: The ACAAN is true, they pick any random number and any card, and in the deck you NEVER touch, it is there. Powerful effect that the audience will never catch. You could perform in another room, technically, but not recommended Houdini Cards: You show the spectator a photo of Houdini with a card from the start, then when you zoom in his eyes, their selected card can be seen. Great effect, I love how the photo is fairly seen the whole time and you never touch it. City/Actor: You show a list of cities/actors and they select one. They lift their phone and the city is shown on the google maps or actors images shown in google images. They choose from 20 choices. Overall awesome effect, free choice, no way of being caught. I did modify the list Greg gives so something is not in it that would be very strange for the spectator to see. After modified, another great effect. (See a pattern?) Web Album: They see a photo album they can swipe through, without looking they swipe and swipe to a random one. Then they look at it and you can describe the image. It can be repeated up to 4 times. Fun effect, somewhat like the TelePhoto effect, but not method. US Coins/Love Word: You lay out a penny, nickel, dime, and quarter. They arrange it in any order and on their phone is a photo of the correct order. Love is similar as the write the word "Love" with 4 markers each letter in a unique color. The photo matches like the US Penny. The downside to these is you cannot show the photo before (clearly) which makes it slightly less fair but doesn't take anything from the effect. ESP/Planets: The easiest to perform effects. The select any planet or ESP symbol, and it is on their phone. It is powerful but not as strong as the others. With only 5/8 choices, just not as powerful to me. App Store: I have no idea how to even perform this. I have the app and something is missing to perform it. Also, the method is strange and overly confusing than the other effects. I will not use this one. Also, the spectator must use an i-device or it will be real strange to pull up iTunes rather than Google Play. Dictionary: You pull up google on their phone, then they search any word and its definition. You recite the word. The effect requires the most amount of dirty work. This is the most risky effect, but one of the best. I tricked one of my friends that I had the dictionary memorized, which was very funny. Now all the effects are out of the way, the app: At first I was so confused, the load page is Is just a list of stuff with not instructions. I was like, what did I just buy? After further inspection I found a very long written instructions and a 30ish minute video. The video is very clear and explains some, but not all the effects. The written instructions are clear but hard to navigate. With so many sections a table of contents/link to each area would be super beneficial. Also, I found some effects were not explained in either set of instructions. There are 3 of them. I was able to figure 1 of them (US Coins) but 2 I did not (Chair Tests). For the chair tests I found no application for them, they just felt thrown in there. Customization: Super versatile You can add any effect you want, with as many outs as you want. Doesn't get much more freedom then this. Support: I had few questions before my purchase and after, and Mr. Rostami responded no later than 24 hours. Fantastic support. Flaws: No instructions for certain effects Unclear on how to perform certain methods (lazy style esp) Ideas: Open app to certain page beside homepage to avoid time wasted- Trying not to spill anything there Table of contents for written instructions App effect on Google Play Customize words (still 4 letter) for the Love Colors (EX: Dave, Card, Five, Club etc...) Instructions for the Chair Test Effects Final Review: Kicks some butt. The effects are super powerful and will be a memory forever. Yes the spectator can keep the webpage up forever (esp the ones with lasting image, Houdidni, Love, US Coins) It is very fun to perform and I would fully recommend 9/10. |

WOW Phil ... what an amazing review!
As you said, the most powerful feature of Inject is they use THEIR phone (ANY smartphone works). The magician's phone is NEVER seen! This is magic that happens on a borrowed object (spectator's phone) in their hands (in many of the routines, you NEVER touch their phone)!! In the latest version of Inject, the magician can use ANY smartwatch (Pebble, Apple Watch, etc) for any of the effects that require peeking. Lastly, all of the effects can be examined before and after ... since all of the effects are on their phone. Thank you very much Phil, Greg Rostami |

What phone do you use? I just got a Galaxy S7 and iPredict+ is now completely useless. I'm worried that if I buy this app which is a lot more expensive the same thing could happen...

Hi Sparda,
What kind of a problem are you having with iPredict+ on your Galaxy S7? I have both iPredict+ and iPredict Pro running on my Galaxy S3. When it comes to iPredict+, keeping up with TWO operating systems that change a dozen times a year is very difficult for a $2.99 app that has 200 phone numbers to maintain. In contrast updating a $50 app is a LOT easier because each customer payed $50. I promise you, Inject will be updated to support any changes in your OS. cheers, Greg |

I run a Moto G 3rd Gen so nothing too fancy. I have performed this on a spectators with iPhone 5, 6, and Galaxy and no issues there either. I have yet to find any bugs within the app itself. I personally would not be too concerned about the apps functionality. Plus on Android you can always refund within 2 hours of purchase no questions asked in case you have major problems but like I said in the review, Greg was able to give fast and helpful support if needed. |

Just be sure.
Does this mean you can do a telefoto type of routine and will be able see the name of the stopped photo on your Pebble watch? With Telefoto I like to play the digital version of the boardgame "Who is it". I use pictures of celebrities. It would be great to see the name of the person on my watch. |

So just look at all the other apps put out by Greg. Many are great but the customer service is poor. I will never buy anything from him again. Awesome apps until there is an issue. That is a different story. Don't take my word. Just look at others issues that have gone unsolved. Regardless of the price. You put out a product, you should stand behind it. Never again for me. Augure is awesome and so is the customer service after you buy it.

Can I just say, I bought inject and when I had an issue I emailed Greg and I got an email back with a solution to the problem within a day. So I disagree that the customer service is poor.

Does anyone know if any of these apps work with the I watch

Hi rowland,
The current version of Inject is compatible with all smartwatches. On the Apple Watch, you must turn off wrist detection in the Apple Watch settings for it to work with Inject. I use Inject once in a while with a Pebble Round watch, but you obviously don't need it. I hope that helps. Please let me know if you have any other questions. Greg Rostami |
