Did you this kid on AGT. He got an ovation.
He sawed his sister in half.
I don't know if this link will work. It's from a Facebook picture.

I would like to know who his Dad is as the illusion (although looking purposely home made and amateurish) was very sophisticated in design. Hopefully they will go on to get more exposure!

They wheeled the sister off the stage in 2 halves. Then they showed a clip of her being wheeled through the parking lot.
Simon asked the kid if he's going to put her back together again.
The kid answered, " if I come back again, I may"
This kid is going places.

I liked them too. I like their performance dynamic of bother and sister and the whole kid foundation. I don't think they'll win but it would be good to see them another couple of times. Great premise. Did anyone recognize the dad as a known magician or builder?

I thought it was pretty clever. Too bad the Youtube commenters watch it over and over and try to expose it.

The early stages of AGT are all about coming off almost amateurish (even if you're a professional) so you can "build" in the later rounds. Whoever built this did a wonderful job with a very deceptive base purposely disguised to look very home built including the cardboard and hand painted signs. It looked like something the kids could have actually done themselves. They were well spoken and likable as well, great job!

Fact of the matter is that most magic is not meant for video. It's meant to be experienced live. I wish anyone that puts magic on Youtube would disable comments.

I see what you are saying. If you start out with your top material, then there's nowhere to go but down!

On the other hand, it's tricky, because if you come off as TOO amateurish, then you take the chance you will be zonked from the start and never get to advance! Man, what a balancing act! You'd have to have a bullet proof strategy!

So you are telling me that there is an act too amateurish for AGT. Hard to imagine.

I just watched the brother/sister duo on tonight's AGT.
They were wonderful.
When he came out of the toolbox, he shocked everyone.
His sister is adorable.

Yeah, but if you go by the Youtube comments, they are terrible. Most of the comments are trashing them. What a shame.

I watched the latest AGT yesterday.
2 magicians advanced to the semis. Blake Vogt (spelling??) and the Rockett brother/sister kids.
The kids perform stage illusions and Blake does more closeup.

Blake is very good but I feel the kids are fantastic. Lots of charisma.
Their father is a good coach.

I was surprised Blake made it through when up against those Passing Zone.
