So, I guess you put two cards in spectator's hands and take one out, the one that you don't take out "turns" blank? It's too bad that it doesn't show the whole performance. |

It says "The specially gimmicked cards do all the work for you". I would be upset if it was a triple, a double and remove the top card.
But Rick's stuff is usually pretty good, so I suspect I'll go for it. |

Looks like a simple little trick; but I agree, it would have been nice to see a full performance.

I think the trailer has shown enough to conceal the secret. It might involve a not-so-old concept. Great job again from Rick Lax!

Wow. This is maybe the worst trailer I've ever seen, it's a simple card trick, no stuntshow! Does Michael Bay direct magic trailers now? Btt: good trick. But nothing more than that.

I must be in the minority here but I liked the trailer enough to purchase Eraser! I think its a brilliant little effect! In my lecture, I teach a colour changing deck routine which ends with the deck being blank on both sides and examinable. This would be a perfect follow on! Simple but ver clean looking and I cannot wait to give it a go! To be honest, most magicians will have what is required at home and the handling you'll have down in no time at all! Im taking this out tomorrow and seeing how the reactions go! As a working magician, I know that magic in the spectators hands really is the most impressive form of magic so any effect I can have ready to go is a huge must have! Id recommend this little beauty!

JamieD. Wondering one thing about the effect. In the video, Rick shows 2 cards, the King and Queen. He puts both cards in the woman's hands. He says at one point, after removing a card from her hands, "you still feel the card's still in there?" She says yes. If he only pulled out one card, wouldn't she still feel another one in there? Just trying to understand the basics of what he's presenting here. Is the effect putting 2 cards in the spectator's hands, pulling 1 out, leaving the other behind which then is revealed to have changed into a blank card? Thanks.

I believe e it's because he's saying he's going to make a card disappear. But instead of vanishing, the printer ink disappears- so the question makes sense in that regard.

I am tempted but I will be disappointed if it is triple lift.

I bought it. Here is what the performance looks like:
-You show two cards (front and back) -You ask spectator to sandwich both cards in their hands -You pull one card out -You tell them the other card is gone -Spectator still feels the card in their hands, so they think you are lying -Spectator opens their hands and sees a blank card |

I actually like this a lot. However, I like the transpo effect even more that Rick explains like a alternate effect and that's what I'll be preforming as a lead in to card magic.

Makes me want to get some business cards printed on playing card stock.

I didn't like the trailer either but I think Rick is a solid teacher and usually puts out quality stuff so I bit. Super easy trick and good reactions so far. The "gimmicks" you probably already own. Essentially your paying for the method, not the "gimmick". I think this would have been great as a ten dollar download with no shippable items. Overall though I'm happy I jumped.

I dived and bought it. I like this trick. This is 66% for me before I really perform it. There are many variations for this principle provided by Rick Lax on the download. I share one. You can use the frixon pen effect to add on this magic if you like frixon as much as I do. Another comment is that this trick is good in corporate event by showing how easy data can be stolen within a second when we are not careful. Now, I am waiting for the delivery and since the ad said all props are included then I will expect the bxxx card is added as well. Good job, Rick.

Rick holds the card in a Biddle grip so you should be able to use your business card instead of a blank as long as it is the same length as a regular playing card. I tried to come up with my method to perform this effect and it worked (although it is not very easy to maintain the business card in place). I would say: buy it as long as you are ready to spend the additional time to practice with your business card, this is probably doable. |
