Is there such a thing as a replica expanded shell or slippery sam or other gaffs...If so where can these be purchased,,I would assume they are not as expensive as real coin gaffs

Yes, they exist. Check out Joe Mogar's "Magical Morgans" (http://www.joemogar.com/id24.html) which are replica Morgan dollars (that also have magnetic properties). He has shells, sets, flippers, and other stuff.
They're not the cheapest, but they're certainaly less expensive than using the old silver dollars. Enjoy. |

There are lots of these available on certain chinese sites, but caveat emptor, you usually get what you pay for. These cheaper gaffs are perfect for practice and/or novices, but may not cut it down the road.
