If you want to see the old classic Copperfield pieces. Watch this video. They are alive and well in someone else's show.

LOL anything of his own creation in that show?
The art of a magician is to create wonder.

How does this happen? if he can afford all of those props he should just go to Steinmeyer and get a custom show built! Makes no sense.

Musicians make tributes. The difference between a tribute band and a copycat is the attribution of the pieces to the original artist. I don't believe this magician mentions Copperfield, Burton and others but can't confirm it as I have never seen him perform.
This is why many people think all magicians are the same.

I was thinking the same thing Durden. The name of his show actually translates to...."Look what I can do with 11 billion dollars and 0 originality."

How many illusionist only do original material?

It is not the tricks or illusions, it is the performer.

It's easy enough to dress up someone's existing product with a different approach, feel, lighting design, paint job, add-on set pieces, music, choreography, story...

The ***-clown in question is doing blatant rip-offs and deserves no defense.

In this case, not only are the illusions and tricks not original, neither are his mannerisms, gestures and actions. Watching the clip we see Copperfield, McBride, Brett Daniels and Jonathan Pendragon

Yeah, Copperfield, Lance Burton and Hans Klok in there...
Especially the Fire Spiker is a Klok signature, even the way he moves...

But let's be honest here, he has the budget, he actually performs it quite well, but offcourse 0 originality (or self-respect)
I saw someone post here that this is the reason why most people think all magicians are the same.
Euhm.. If all magicians performed this pro, people could care less, a laymen doesn't really know who he copied.
It bothers people who know the many different magicians and their routines, but unlike most other copycats, it's not a cheap copy...

Not defending this guy AT ALL! Just sayin' there's guys shaming the art way worse with their attempts to copy.
