Steve - Suggestion....... Go to this website .....https://supermagnetman.com or call (205) 989-4353 and ask for George and tell him allen sent you.... He would be perfect to ask about magnets..... Very knowledgeable ...... He could make a suggestion of something small enough to put behind your ring with the correct polarity and strength......
Hope that helps..... allen |

I was fortunate enough to have purchased the original Badlands Box from Viking Magic... I'll have to say it is a beautiful box. After having spent a little time making a jewelry box to put the Badlands Box into, I had a thought/ question....
Other than the beauty of the box, the inability to rotation the dice, and the story of the Badlands Box and apart from the cost, What's the difference/ advantage between using the Badlands Box and using a Single Forcing Die to force a duplicate dice outcome in a jewelry box? Any thoughts??? Ideas? What makes one "better" (and I use that loosely) than the other? Thanks,,, allen |

Can you easily produce the number 1 on this as want to use as final revelation after real die MD but someone told me the number 1 is an issue as it holds the magnet so looks not right and they really need to pick numbers 2 through 5 . Any thoughts / suggestions would be appreciated Tarik 😊

The number one could be produced; however, the number one is rather odd and large looking compared the dots on the other sides. It doesn't look like a normal one on a die.
Again, my thinking is using a Single Forcing Die to force a duplicate dice outcome in a jewelry box, you could produce numbers 1 through 6.... I'm just not sure what "more" the Badlands Box offers... allen |

The name of the effect is actually Badlands Bob and Badlands Box was the added edition that I released this year.

I've been playing around with Badlands Box Dieluxe and I think it's great!
I don't know if this is a "10". Maybe not. Some seem to think it's more of a puzzle than a trick. But, honestly... this is so cool. I think a lot of people got frustrated with the original Badlands Bob. The Badlands Box makes the trick a breeze to do. Spectator examines the smaller box with the die and it's obvious that the die will not turn over no matter how hard the box is shaken. Spectator names a number between 1 and 6. That's right - "between" 1 and 6. The magician drops the small box into the larger box and shuts the lid. Spectator taps on the box three (or whatever) times and the box is opened. The die has changed to the "3" and the smaller box and die can be examined again until the cows come home. Like I said... it may not be a "10", but I'm not so sure. I'm just really glad I bought this. It's a beautiful and unusual piece! Hats off to Tony for coming up with this. Robert |

Its great that the box takes care of the "work" for you as Badlands Bob was a kind of a pain by itself.
My only issue is that I wish it did its thing when removing the inner box rather than when placing it inside. This not only makes more sense and is much more logical from a spectators pov, but it also helps take some of the heat off the outer box. But more importantly, it is how it would have to work to be able to use it the way I was hoping to. I also think that placing it inside the box after a number is named is why many people find it to be more of a puzzle. Because you can't perform it as a prediction or mentalism effect. But I certainly agree that it looks beautiful although tbh I would expect it to for the price. |

Using a method to secretly ascertain the number without asking might add to the mystery considerably.
I believe Peter Nardi mentions this in the short instructional video. Robert |

I just received mine and it works great.
I love that double dose of amazement ...... how does it know what number I selected? how did the dice move in the box? This is a winner. Thanks Tony |

I lost out on getting this in the US, but I was lucky enough to get it from Tony's site. I can only tell you how happy I was and especially for coming from over the pond. I am so happy to have received this and Tony, all of my best wishes for you. The trick is great! And I am very happy thanks to your site for getting it. All of my best blessings and you keep on creating. I really enjoy the trick!

I don't know the original Bad Lands Bob from Viking Magic, but I am telling you that what Tony created was a marriage between the 2 tricks
and it is awesome!I am very lucky and happy to have mine. All I can say about the trick is that I AM VERY HAPPY and Tony created another masterpiece! Well done Mr Curtis! And all my best to you! Sincerely, Jon Wilson |

In my opinion about Tony's version of the trick is this. Tony seen something that was missing from the trick and now that I have it
(only in Tony's version and very happy!) and Tony created something beautiful that was also magic. He saw the missing puzzle I should say and created something I would call collectible from a heartbeat! If you don't have this, it being from Tony and Magic Wagon will be very collectible some day. I want to say this, that, I not only enjoyed getting my magic from over the pond so to say, but also from such a great guy and magician....as always, all my best Tony and love the little spin you put on it! |
