And any weight loss may simply be due to lifestyle changes rather than to the product itself. It would take a controlled clinical trial to isolate the variables and determine if the product actually works as claimed. The bottom line is that most people don't need pills to lose weight. They just need to eat right and exercise more. But this product (and maybe most weight loss products) appeal to people's desire for a quick and easy, almost "magical" fix. I agree that lifestyle changes will help. I also agree that some probably don’t need pills. But what me and you think
doesn’t matter, what they think does. However it helps, if it helps it helps. I can’t speak for all but with mine if it doesn’t work you get your money back. It’s that simply. Tom

The United Nations declared WAR ON OBESITY and say goes. You’ll find it find now promoted worldwide now like everything they declare. It is good business sense to listen to UN and get into the very thing. You get free stuff, like grants and advertising.
If there is a single truth about Magic, it is that nothing on earth so efficiently evades it.

(you can easily find those online) Smoking cigarettes can help some people lose weight too. Would you promote the smoking of cigarettes for weight loss because, hey, "if it helps it helps"? And if the only thing that matters is what they think, then if someone truly believes that drinking Drano would help them lose weight, would you sell them Drano (with a money back guarantee) as a weight loss product? Well if they lose weight I have to assume it does actually work.
But does it work with everybody, of course not, nothing does. Tom

I'm reminded of a "Beverly Hillbillies" episode (don't judge me) where it turned out the Clampetts had a cure for the common cold.
I don't remember who actually HAD the cold, Miss Hathaway or Mr. Drysdale. I remember the doctor character telling them; "There's no cure for the common cold. You get bed rest, drink lots of fluids and in a week to ten days, your cold will be better." They go through the entire episode of finding out about the Clampett's cure and Drysdale thinks he's going to make a fortune off of it. The episode ends with the doctors, Drysdale and Hathaway at the Clampett's house. Jed proclaims proudly the Granny's cure works perfectly; "All ya gotta do is take a spoonful of Granny's cure, drink lots of water, stay in bed and in a week or two your cold's just fine!"

Ah, so much misunderstanding about MLMs.
MLMs are not the easiest way to wealth. Laying on a beach collecting money from your vast down-line is a myth. Your vast down-line will represent vast late hours of work. Three years after starting as a financial advisor many years ago, I was generating more income than a financial MLM friend of mine's entire 500 people down-line produced! And, he spent many more years building this vast down-line, he worked so much harder than I did, and he really helped very few, if any "real" clients. Not all MLMs are bad, but here is what I have found as a good way to measure whether an MLM is good or not: If you can honestly say it works at the lowest level without ever having a down-line, then it might be a good MLM. In other words, if you take away the MLM business model, would you still buy the product? I personally haven't found a single MLM product that I thought was a better deal than something I could get at Walmart, Costco, my local grocery store, my current phone company, etc. Still, they are not all bad. My mom was in Mary Kay. She had no down-line. She has a bunch of clients who loved her and she loved helping them look beautiful. She did this in her retirement years and made a few thousand dollars per year of "extra" spending money, mostly vacation money. Women would cry at how beautiful they looked after she did a facial for them. I hope this was helpful to someone. KJ |

I am a registered Amway Distributor but I do not work on that stuff anymore. I was doing it part-time as I already have a full time job. Initially it was good but then they increased product prices thrice within one and half years. The new prices did not seem justified to me so I could not very well justify them to other people. Now a bunch of people know I have a distributorship and order products via me time to time

Thanks Soumyajit. I'm sure the other products increased prices too, so Amway may still be the better deal for your customers?
With most products, there is ALWAYS a better deal someplace else. But many buy the ‘brand’ and would never think about comparing one brand to another brand. It’s apples and oranges with some. Tom PS, I have 7,000 in my downline now. Growing, growing, growing. Moving along much better than expected.

He must make at least $1 a month from every one of those 7,000 people. Probably makes at least $2 a month. Over $100,000 a year! I could probably get 1,000 people a month every month for 10 years without even trying (I live in a big metropolitan area). 120,000 people bringing in $1 a month would mean $120,000 a month! And if I could motivate them to get me $10 a month (not unreasonable, really), then I'd be making $1,200,000 a month. What do I have to do to get on this gravy train, Tom? Honey, our troubles are over! (That comment was directed at my wife)
