I thank you once again Sudo, for giving me the pleasure of owning your book.
It is great. The effect is direct and on-point. The method/handling shares some similarities with I.S. but it is simpler in many ways. bond19 mentions a question you need to ask - I would argue that it is a question only in the eyes of a performer/mentalist; the layman will always almost remember it as a statement/hit (that is, in the rare occasions that the spectator actually remembers it after the performance). Anybody lucky enough to have received this book will surely recognize it for a great piece of mentalism it is. As somebody else has already written, Sudo Nimh really is a prime example of a "magician helping magicians" - the core value of this Café. Thumbs up!

I join the club in saying this is clever and clean. In the verbal instructions, with one statement you get information and a hit at the same time. There are several powerful reveals and if you like, you can turn this into a detailed hot reading. No reverse engineering fears. In fact, it hurts the brain when I try to reverse engineer it myself. Thanks for being so generous.

Dunno what to add, everything has been said here, great, great easy straightforward method, just brilliant, this will be the one I will use from now on, and having discovered Sudo's brilliant mind I will immediately beg him for his "Jack the Ripper "routine!
Thanks for your generosity, my fiend! Gilles

I never know how to respond to comments regarding my work other than to say "Thank-you for the kind words". It feels a bit like being a broken record.
Just put them to good use is all I can ask. Gilles - check your inbox. |

After read the PDF Sudo Nimh share,I laughed and think that's brilliant, why haven't I thought of his solution!
The original Isabella star one and two don't work in my native language, the fishing process only work in English,so I never performed it due to the language restriction. After read Sudo Nimh's version, now I am happy man and would like to perform this version. His version is much more direct in process ,I would recommend his version to even the English speaking performer. Sudo Nimh got a brilliant mind and a kind heart! |

Thanks sychou! I'm glad that I was able to make this "doable" for you now. I'm not fond of any methods that aren't universal.

I'll add to this simply to say it is a simple and direct way to get someone's birthday. As has been suggested by Sudo himself : you don't even need to p**k the star number : if you do readings - you can simply give them a reading and reveal their birthday later.
Fantastic and eloquent piece of work. Congratulations Sudo.

There's not much more to be added that hasn't already been said in one way or another. This method is direct and hard hitting. Thanks a lot for sharing Sudo.

I've been performing this over the past two weeks (bar magic and strolling gigs, about 20 times) and it's been getting great reactions. Using the S.U.C. is ideal. Looking forward to Sudo's other offerings.

First up, I highly appreciate this rare and simple philosophy of giving and sharing displayed by Sudo. Thank you Sudo, for sharing Eclipse to a complete stranger like me.
Now about Eclipse itself. IMHO, it is a big big improvement on Pete's Isabella Star method. Some great thinking here. I will be using it and I would have happily paid for it too. You have come up with a real winner, Sudo. Thanks again.

Hello Sudo!
Using your routine in the real life, I went for a different way to get the info, one I thought I had invented... until I watched Looch Penguin lecture !!! Well, that's life! Anyway I think it blends pretty well into your routine, thanks again!

Hi Gilles.
I use SUC, unless I forget it on the way out. In which case I have a number of methods I haven't published... The main point with any of my releases is to use what works for you! Peeks are like underwear - we all have different tastes, and they get changed often! |

Peeking and underwear -- makes you wonder how confusing this forum must look to an average muggle. I like it!
