You thought the stories were fiction, but the letters were real! Count Dracula almost took over London in 1893 and now his descendant plans on continuing the father's legacy!
Clippings from Mina Harker's scrapbook. Mina Harker's Scrapbook. Although you really cannot see it in this image, it has been distressed and aged using shoe polish, sand paper and my fist. Since taking the image I have also bent it up a bit. It is still a work in progress. A cheap life-size plastic skull from Amazon. Stage 2: Fangs! Stage 3: Eyes! Stage 4: EVIL! A magnetically activated reed switch will cause the eyes to flicker red! When finished, the skull will be mummified using cotton, paint and latex. SNEAK PEAK Can you guess the topic of my next big project!

Regarding your last picture, it seems you are working on the same subject that I am with my Dopps and paraphernalia. I'm thinking it's either something along the "So Long at the Fair" story or H.H. Holmes, one of the subjects in the non-fiction novel, "The Devil In the White City". I am deliberately being a little obtuse, but I believe it is one of those two things. Am I correct?

Detective Frank Geyer of the Pinkerton Detective Agency had just experienced a horrible tragedy! His wife and daughter were killed in a fire a short time before he started investigating the H. H. Holmes case.
Little did Geyer know, this was not a simple case of insurance fraud, but he was on the trail of America's 1st serial killer! Although a diligent and talented detective, Geyer's success and speed in the investigation bordered on the preternatural! Did he find help from the murdered Pitezels, Holmes' former partner in crime and his children? This effect is part of a much larger and layered routine I hope to premiere at ECSS III in January. It will take you through the entire story of H. H. Holmes, the Murder Castle and all his many victims. The routine will include nearly 40 handcrafted cabinet cards, original props and actual relics from the Chicago World's Fair of 1893!
