I have both scan3D and SS2.5 for different affects and the lower strength coins only affect the SS2.5 as scan 3D still pick them up. Wrong thread for this really, will be looking forward to a new one for this in the future...who ever finds one first. All the best. Phil. |

I personally like the £2 the best but always good to have a back up and the £1 is very well made and more people do have £1 on them

How hard is it to learn the moves required to do the trick smoothly for a total coin noob?

There are some more advanced moves as well as the instructional video gives you a few options depending on your skill. But like everything it takes practice and patience. I’m a noob myself and found I can do this tick with a few days practice in front of the mirror and then the dreaded wife test. After that it’s just confidence to do it in front of other people, that’s the bit that takes the time not the trick for me I would advise the face Book page for this trick as there is a lot of chat on there for handling and a few quick video’s , you can ask Michael for access to this once you have the trick. |

Mark at Saturn magic has an non sleight version to get you up and running that gets the job done if you are struggling early doors but by it is by no means hard if you put a little time into Michaels minimal sleight version regards Tarik 😊

Mark at Saturn may want to add to this, as I may be wrong? |

Mark kindly allowed me to share the details with all purchasers as this video is hosted on his site in return. You can pm Mark, me or find the details along with my updated handling (which is easier) on the Facebook group.

I second that - very interested in a US version.

Then you guys should start lobbying for the US to produce a new coin or modify an existing one so that it has the correct properties as many European coins do.
In the meantime, I've been using the £2 version here in the good ol' USA and simply start off by saying the standard line of how I ended up with some leftover change from a recent trip abroad. Then I say I discovered something interesting about it which may explain the British economy. Makes no sense but nobody cares. Sure, you can't begin by borrowing a coin but that's difficult to do here these days anyway for a variety of reasons. How many of you borrow a deck of cards? I think the borrowing of items has become over-rated in magicians' minds. This may be different depending on where you live, but many (most?) people are worldly, they've seen foreign currency before. It's not some strange bizarre thing that they can't accept as being real, or are unable to understand why you might have some. Now having said that, I'd be first in line for a US version, but only because Michael's routine is soooo good. |

To all my friends overseas, I have not given up on creating a US version (along with others) I have a different gimmick designed for the same purpose but at the moment it is't good enough for release. I am confident that I can overcome the issues but have just had too little time to devote to it at the moment. I will certainly be pushing it further once I have cleared a small back log of other projects
Best Wishes Michael

Sadly I have had so little free time to devote to pushing this further with other projects, it's certainly not been forgotten though
