The book was brand new when I got it from Micheal's Art Supplies. I decided to hand paint and distress the pages. Still a lot of work to be done. So far I have a Romanian postage stamp, a telegram from Dr. Sewerd to Van Helsing, a page from Johnathon Harker's journal (not shown), a small painting of The Demeter, a photo of Carfax Abbey, a letter to Johnathan Harker from Dracula and newspaper clippings on the Demeter, a train ticket to Transylvania, drawings of a vampire bride, Dracula and his castle. I have ten sides on five pages to fill. Any suggestions?

Excellent work Vince.

Do you have a letter from Jonathan to Mina? Surely a lady would keep a thing like that in her scrapbook, no? And yes, it's yet another letter - but a fitting one I think.

I have another one for you - a map.

Here's some oldish-looking maps of Transylvania in varying size and resolutions:

Sudo, you look different with your beard shaved off.

I have a nagging question: If this is Mina Harker's scrapbook, why is the letter 'D' inscribed on the front? Her maiden name was Murray, while her surname was Harker after marrying Jonathan.

I know that it ties better to Dracula for the 'D', but I would have gone with 'M', since she would have started the scrapbook before the incidents took place, including her marriage. Just my two cents, though. Very intriguing and curious to examine, nonetheless! Well done!

The idea is that it is Mina's scrapbook for, specifically, the Dracula investigation. Also, the prop, although created to look as real as possible, also is for an audience who may never have even read the book. So, I am not really worried about the "D".
