I've been asked to have a look at this trailer.
Which by the way - it's great. As magicians we are very familiar with the Vanishing Deck and I think that this is a beautiful modern update to the classic effect. It comes in three different colors: Silver, Gold and Gray and from what I understand it is only available in 5/5s models. I really hope they will do more models but so far this look like a killer effect. More info: Silver : http://www.murphysmagic.com/Product.aspx?id=55953 Gold : http://www.murphysmagic.com/Product.aspx?id=55955 Gray : http://www.murphysmagic.com/Product.aspx?id=55957 Best regards, Titanas

This is one of those things I wish I had thought of. It's a killer application of a classic gimmick but now it makes SO much sense! Check out the trailer below to see more...

Played around with this one over the weekend.
Have to tell you - it looks good - just as in the trailer. Tried this out with a new iPhone SE, and it worked well also. This just doesn't come in the newer Rose Gold color. Wish this was available for the new iPhones, but at least we still have a SE and a 5S around to use it with! Available for preorder now - ships out on the 12th. I will try and put a performance video up in the next day or so. http://www.magicandsuch.com/woocommerce-......st,p_sku Also wanted to point out that this works great with the iPhone 4 and 4S, as well. -Andrew

With the iPhone 7 released in days few, the 5 will very soon be a distant memory for the vast majority of the population. Lol.

Our latest review show is out featuring this item check it out here http://www.saturnmagic.co.uk/saturn-prod......R34.html
We have all three colours coming into stock but here is the link just for the gray. http://www.saturnmagic.co.uk/saturn-magi......ick.html This is very good and as we say in the review you could use a dummy iPhone if you wish to do the effect and don't own a phone that will work. The vanish is fantastic, I've show it to a few people in the last few days, it really is a great moment when the phone vanishes. The only downside is the fixed phone model but buying a dummy will enable you to keep doing this for years in its basic form as obviously people can't call you etc on a dummy phone.

I have to admit that this is a great application of this principle
I know sansmind get a lot of heat at times but this is a really good idea Credit where it's due |

I think that due to the shape of the iPhone 5 ( more rectangular rather than rounded edges ) makes this effect limited to older models . Either that, or this trick was due to be released two years ago and got held up in production

I don't get why they'd release an effect for a phone that's going to be two generations old in a month. It looks great but as I'll have a 7 in a few months at most it's a no go here.

Not sure why Sansminds are using very old data. This is obviously an old concept that's been sitting on the back-burner for a few years.
Data as of Feb 2016 Despite Apple’s best efforts to persuade people that larger screened devices were unnecessary, it eventually became apparent that Apple could no longer continue to ignore a market that was seemingly itching for devices with huge displays. And so Apple in 2014 decided to dive in head first into the world of larger screened smartphones, unveiling the 4.7-inch iPhone 6 and the 5.5-inch iPhone 6 Plus. Since then, Apple has broken numerous iPhone sales records as consumers flocked to these bigger devices in unprecedented numbers. Indeed, Apple’s larger iPhones proved to be so popular that we haven’t even seen the release of a more accommodating 4-inch iPhone model in nearly two and a half years. With that said, one might reasonably assume that no one is really using smaller iPhone models anymore. Recently compiled data from Mixpanel, however, reveals that older iPhone models that predate 2014’s iPhone 6 are still in use and, in fact, quite popular. In fact, you might be surprised to learn that the second most used iPhone on the planet is the iPhone 5s, a device that was released all the way back in 2013. Broken down by model, here are the most used iPhone devices as of Saturday, February 6. iPhone 6 – 35.06% iPhone 5s – 19.1% iPhone 6s – 13.73% iPhone 6 Plus – 8.54% iPhone 5 – 7.64% iPhone 5c – 5.87% iPhone 6s Plus – 4.27% iPhone 4s – 4.03% iPhone 4 – 1.74% Older iPhones – .03% |

Dang it! I had this idea four years ago. Never got around to pitching it to a magic company (I certainly couldn't make the gimmick).
Well, I'm glad someone put it out.

Pegasus from your numbers I think it does make sense. 5, 5S, 5C and SE series all share the same case model. In that case they'd add up to a much larger market share. Such a great idea. So glad I am still using a 5!

I think Apple share of the market will be on the way down once 7 is out
Especially if the rumours are true that they will not come with headphone jack plug ask Apple has decided you don't need it anymore ! |

Can the normal phone be inside the case while the gaff is also in the case?
Wondering how much pocket space total this will take up.

Your normal phone is inside the case with the gaff and it s ready to go, so no extra pocket space.
