I hopped onto Hank Lee's web sight the other day and cursed mightily. Eugene Burger is releasing a new booklet, containing unreleased routines. This is great. But the only way to get it is buy 3 DVDs, re-releases of his earlier videos. Sigh. I bought these years ago, so the prospect of shelling out more money for material I already own does not please me. After all my griping though, I will be saving up for these; Eugene's stuff is too good to pass up. Although Hank Lee has them listed, they're probably not shipping yet. Anyone have the inside scoop on this? …Contents of the book?
Thanks
Matt

Hi Matt. From a discussion with Todd Karr, who produced these, they are about 2 or 3 weeks off. The footage has been all remastered, color corrected, digitized, etc. and the DVD format just makes for better navigation overall from the VHS format. The book was apparently created as kind of a bonus or a big thank you to those who do purchase this DVD set. It is only available with the DVDs to keep it unique and to keep the value to those who purchase the DVD set. It is, from what I understand, about 63 or 64 pages in length. I have not yet seen this but Todd is a perfectionist and was very happy with the outcome of the project overall when I spoke to him today so I am quite confident in it just based on that. Eugene is also very careful about anything that comes out with his name on it. Thus I am really looking forward to this DVD set. It should be great. Hope that helps a bit.

Thanks guys, somehow I missed that earlier thread. Like I said in my post, despite my "griping":) I am VERY much looking forward to the new material. Thanks for the heads up Tim, if these dvds are as good as you say, then the magic community owes Mr. Burger another big "Thank You".

I love everything Eugene is involved in.Todd Karr's books look suberb. But this reminds me of record company's re-selling their back catalogue to oldies on
c.d's. [who had it on vinyl] I ONLY want the beautiful book.
