I've been working on a stand-up card prediction for some time now, on and off. It's more of a comedic presentation until the end when I reveal that my prediction was correct. Are there any ways I could make a card prediction stronger? Perhaps by using certain words, or placing the predicion out in the open way before the trick or something???

Something that I have used with success in the past is writing the prediction on a slip of paper and then sealing it in an envelope. I then hide the envelope somewhere in the room I am going to perform. I paricularly like to tape it to the bottom of a chair. Sometimes it is a random chair, other times if I know the seating arrangement beforehand I will place it under the chair of a particular person who I want to use in my show. I have always felt that the times I am able to use this method, it makes the routine much stronger.
