I'm about to buy a bridge table
As I thought I could play chess or some such games on it [if I so wish] And use it for magic I have little clue / experience - so is a bridge table a good idea, or as the main use will be magic - is there a better option? I will be using it for various card effects, or to place props on Mostly parlour or close up stuff [with a mentalism edge most the time] The bridge table will be a high quality one: The top frame comprises a wide polished wood surround in a choice of finishes. The edges of the surround are rounded for both visual appeal and playing practicality. For people with beautiful homes, or luxury hotels, this is the perfect choice. Available in mahogany stain with green woven baize as standard Any warnings or help would be most welcome Thanks |

Here's a link to a discussion thread on the forum related to magic tables:
http://www.themagiccafe.com/forums/viewt......forum=26 You might want to spring for that $10 book from Amazon about magician's tables (mentioned in the thread). Having a sense of what kinds of things a table can be used for will help you determine what features your own table should have.
It's still magic even if you know how it's done.
