I don't find losing the little ball of wax to be a problem so the ball of wax I have on ITRs basically never really needs to be replaced until perhaps when they turn real grimy from hefty use. Your mileage may vary on the wax so you can pick up the pre-portioned wax pellets that Mesika sells (to be fair, the wax he uses is actually pretty good). |

There is also a pretty easy way to refill those spools with your own desired ITs if wanted to, so if you don´t want to spend 15$ or so for the refills every time you break the thread (you should have few backup spools). I have 3 spools in total & had chanced the thread on one of the spools to be ready for absolutely the best conditions possible (not close-up )

I refilled my spider pen. I used a heavier thread. In the end though, you still have to strip out the thread. I just buy the spools. I feel my time is better spent doing other things besides stripping IT, lol.

Stripping that length is quite a feat though.
I was considering trying it, to put in some vectra thread. He should release different versions of the spools.

So I've purchased T2, Cobra and Venom. What can I say? I love ITRs. And after much debate, I've concluded I like T2 best. It requires the least setup (I use a Lefler table, so grab and go), can accomplish a Fearson hookup in plain sight, and is a very deceptive ITR. While the Venom has a lot going for it, you've quite a few "costume restrictions." I mean, some people don't want to wear a jacket over a two-pocketed t-shirt for every show. And while I do love my SPP, I've found the T2 has less breakages than the SPP. In fact (fingers crossed), I haven't broken a thread yet . . .

Finally I got T2.
For me, I got both T2 and T1 and I can say that they are different things For T1, you can drop a bill from your hand to the floor and then "attract" it back to your hand. But T2 cannot do that anymore. T2 is much more like an ITR ( or very similar to spider pen pro), thread always with tension. Can do the trick taught in SPP but T1 definitely cannot do that. They allow you to do different tricks. I don't treat it as new version of T1. It is another IT gimmick. |

Anyone know where I can learn the Fearson hookup?

Clip the thread between the fingers of either hand to stop the tension. That's how you can do the bill to floor to hand with T2, just as you can with the Spider Pen Pro.
My ex-cat was named "Muffin". "Vomit" would be a better name for her. AKA "The Evil Ball of Fur".

Wearing a jacket I believe is the best way to go, but just to keep everyone fully informed, its not totally necessary. I don't own T2 (yet), but it does seem like a nice grab and go sort of thing. Does anyone know though if you can adjust tension with T2? Or does the soul tech keep it sort of automatically set? |
