Let it stand for a while and it should play without buffering.

I actually think that a small laser pointer would be perfect as it is more pinpoint. But not sure exactly what the color needs to be or if different colors work or just the standard color? Could it be green? https://www.amazon.com/Powerful-Green-La......+pointer

Respectfully sirbrad, you've made your point and now you should drop the whole light thing. You have made 16 posts in this thread, just about all them in regards to not everyone having a light. Enough already.
Your experiences with people having cell phones, while valid, is, what they would call in statistics, an outlier. The experience of the vast majority of magicians (mine included) are that cell phones (with lights) are exceedingly common. In that data set, your experience is the (contextual) outlier. Statistically, your experience, again while valid, would likely be ignored or excluded from consideration because it wouldn't be within three standard deviations from the norm. Also, you are incorrect that a light would not pass through a standard playing card. My (Galaxy S5) cell phones light shone through a standard bicycle just like you saw in the video demonstration. This trick looks pretty darn cool and just might make it onto my Christmas list. Nice job PHP!

I'm just amazed at the ceativity people have and taking that creativity into tangible reality.
I'm jealous but thankful for all you creative thinkers out there.

Turn off the HD tab in the bottom right hand corner of the video player. That will stop the ridiculous buffering.

Hi all, I have read the concerns about the trailer, I am not to tech savvy but we of course want everyone to be able to watch this with ease. I have contacted Murphys to see what may be happening and am sure they are looking into it. Thank you for your patience

Well speaking of technology as I said I am into computers as I build them, and I have 100 MB cable so the trailer works fine here. Probably better on YouTube. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G_WETfmVQDs
As far as the light goes I said it was based on my experience, and I was done with it but people keep responding to it and acting like it is not a problem or won't be a problem when in reality it probably will be more than you think if you expect everyone to have cellphones with lights. Maybe you could advertise on your promo package and say "Be sure to bring cellphones with a flashlight!" Them maybe you will be safe or still maybe not. I also said being prepared would not hurt. Kaliix you are one who is incorrect, I did not say it would not shine through the card at all, I said it would not be that bright on top and pinpoint like that.

You are also not done with it, as you keep responding to the posts of people who tell keep telling you that your experience is the OUTLIER! The VAST MAJORITY of magicians and spectators that I meet have cell phones, and not the flip kind. Your experience, though valid for you, IS NOT the norm. Your experience is so far from the norm that it really isn't even relevant to the discussion. Yet you keep posting about it, warning people about it and insisting it is a problem, to the tune of 17 posts. I have news for you, for just about everyone else the lack of available light sources IS NOT a problem. And even if it was, small bright LED flashlights are so common now that this simple fix for the no cell phone crowd is easily obtainable and carried. So, really, it's NOT an issue for pretty much anyone but you. Let's drop the light thing and move on. This has got me interested and is definitely going on my Christmas list.

I don't have a phone with a flashlight but I tried a regular one and it does not look like that through the card or on top with that pinpoint beam. Also as I said I already brought up the flashlight alternative in my first posts which you and others failed to read apparently, except one who said they saw it. I stated not everyone will have a flashlight cellphone, and clearly stated that I would substitute a small flashlight of my own to be prepared for it. My experience is as relevant as anyone's and for you to speculate that "no one else will have that issue" is simply that, "speculation". You don't have the trick nor does anyone else so you will not know until later on. But I am sure you will claim everyone had a phone though anyway. I was the one who first said about using a small flashlight instead. So yeah, make that 18 posts I can keep going if you need enLIGHTened.

Omg just stfu. You have your opinion. It's valid for you and probably almost no one else. You've had your say. About twenty times regurgitating the same thing. You are apparently quite mature in years but you're acting like a twelve year old. Move on. People are trying to be respectful to you but you're not getting it so I'll just be blunt. You're hijacking a thread and taking away from actual useful commentary from others.

Ironically you are the one hijacking the thread as you are attacking me, and adding nothing as far as the trick. No one was being respectful also it was quite the opposite actually, but I am a veteran here and much more experienced than you are so I expect that. You have been here like 2 years, you are a nobody and have no clue, and that is most likely not limited to this forum. I can be blunt also, I post where I want when I want, don't like then you are the one who needs to "move on".

No sirbrad, I can assure you are the one highjacking and trolling by repeating the same thing over and over and insisting while everybody is telling you that you are wrong, I hope you are enjoying yourself because you really look ridiculous with your invalid statements and condescension
I still respectfully ask you to move on and stop the trolling, you can't be serious with your statements about smartphones when you see facts about how many smartphones are in the us and the world, I live in a third world country and I never been to a place where no one had a smartphone, it's either you are a stubborn person who always want to be right or you are just trolling to grab attention, a lot of people corrected you but you are still continuing with your nonsense, you can't be that arrogant by thinking that among all posters, you are the only one who's right, open your mind and please be mature about it I already fed your troll a lot while I was the one suggesting to ignore it, so this will be my last post about it, how you're gonna be respectful by accepting what is a fact or by stopping your trolling, if you don't, I'll just ignore you as I should have since the beginning I still wish you happy holidays to you and all members, and hope your next post will show that you can have a mature and constructive discussion |

Nope I did not at all, my post was valid and relevant like it or not. It was others who jumped on my post and attacked my opinion so I just keep responding. No one can prove that "99% of all people have smartphones" which is a stupid and ridiculous claim. I have more experience on here and in the art than most, so I know what I am talking about. Most on here are simply armchair magicians and hobbyists who post all day and night they don't actually perform. That is why they are new here or have 20,000 posts in 3 years. I posted a valid point and a few "trolls" thought they would try and correct me in a condescending manner, and they obviously are new here and do not know that I don't take crap from anyone, and will make them look silly or they would have just kept quiet. So yes you should have ignored my valid point and just acted like the other fanboys do and continue praising the trick.
I stand by my opinion that not everyone will have a phone, nor a phone with a flashlight so it is best to have one yourself. I also don't try and go along with the group which is very common here, we call that a "pack mentality" for the sake of popularity and consisting of weak individuals who want to fit in and be accepted. Sorry but I am not that weak and never was nor will I ever be, I am independent and myself. I have my right to my opinion as anyone else does. And yes I stated it and will continue stating it if others wish to keep attacking it. You want to debate and attack me so be it, get ready to get it back then. I fear no one, no packs, no fanboys, or no fanboy packs. That is how I have been on here since day one but most have not stuck around long enough to remember. And I already stated my solution for the flashlight so you and the others are the ones who need to "drop it" as I am done with it as well.
