Just want to give everyone a heads up that Bob Cassidy's Q&A Seminar is available today at Penguin for a discounted price $59.95 vs. $100 full price.
http://www.penguinmagic.com/p/7755 I have Bob's 3-part audio teleseminar series on Q&A which is excellent, and I expect this to be just as good. |

A new performance or the older already available one?

This is a highly comprehensive treatment of QA in general and Bob's Jazz approach in particular. If you are thinking of adding QA, pay close attention to the warnings strewn throughout this 6 hours of video.

I sat down to watch a little bit of this today; five and a half hours later, I finished it. It was amazing. Up to this point, I felt the John Riggs Hull Card video was the best Q&A training there was (and it IS very, very good) but Bob Cassidys' seminar is better, mostly because it is more comprehensive. Bob starts out with a history lesson and moves on to different techniques and how to prepare items needed. He talks about his Jazz technique and touches on mnemonics and, even, blindfolds The seminar is divided into two parts. The first is a preview of what we see in the show, along with the history lesson and DIY information. The second half is the performance and then a detailed breakdown of the show.
It's no surprise to say that there is much to be learned in this. It's Bob Cassidy, after all. I can't recommend it strongly enough. This, Riggs' Hull Card video, and the worksheet that accompanies Docc Hilfords' Questa is all you need to execute an amazing G&A performance. (But this, alone, would still kick butt.) The people who don't buy this because of the way Penguins' pricing changed are making a great mistake if they don't buy this because of the changing prices. More than worth it at a hundred dollars. |

As I expected, Bob Cassidy's Q&A seminar is very good.
If you already have Bob's books and teleseminars on Q&A there is not much "new" material here, but it's great to see Bob do a live show and then break it down. It's still 20% off the $100 list price if you buy now. |

Horrible news. I hope he manages a complete recovery.

I just heard the news about Bob. So sorry to hear it. I love his work. He's contributed so much. Working on his new Q&A series and it's just great.
