JackMagic, I am not "quoting the price to ship to USA address"! I living in Bulgaria (Eastern Europe) and the prices in the example above were from few hours ago. Here is one more example:
- Magnetic Cards (2 pack/Red) by Chazpro Magic - product price 7.50 USD, shipping 14.25 USD! And they are just 2 playing cards. But I understand that, because not only the size is important. How can I expect to pay about 8 USD for the product and to want the website to pay 8 USD for free shiping to me (just an example, not exact sum)!? Each physical product also have many different costs - design, production, distribution costs, extra stock, partner payment, other costs which Chris noted in the comment above etc. So many products with under 20 USD price are just impossible to be free shiping (or it will be formally announced like that but somehow will be included into the product price, or it is possible to be done, but if it is own product of the online shop team and there aren't exist extra costs for partnership etc.). By the way - you not receive only a credit card, but also about 8-10 pages instructions, so if you purchase the Mystery Card and Mystery Calendar, there will be also about 15-20 A4 format pages instructions, so it is not so flat. But in my opinion not only the size of the trick is the main criteria can the package be free shipping or not, but also it's price etc. I repeat - I do not have information about costs and conditions of the websites. I asked about the criteria and conditions penguinmagic and when I have more information about that will share is it possible the product to be free shipping as a flat-pack or not. About "you have not made this available to any UK dealers" - I was presented the products to Alakazam asking them to supply them about a month ago. Peter Nardi replied that he was traveling at the moment and when come back will contact me, but still I have not received a reply. Will try contact him again. Thank you for sharing your opinions, but again - I can speak only about the exact products, not about the website's shipping conditions, because I am not responsible for that.

This is almost a copy of the Mark Jenest card. It has the same long number on the front, the same 'Your Name' gag and the same expiry date force.

Yes it includes these three gags (they are used in other magic products too), but Mystery Card have about 10 effects more! I give credits to many authors in the instructions file.

Hey y'all. Long time user of MagiCard by Mark Jenset & short time user of Extended Stay by Shawn Farquhar. I'll admit that I was leary at first about some of the similarities. Please keep in mind that some of the gags and bits have been around forever such as "your name", "1089", and etc. MagiCard was probably the first to combine them into one. [And yes, Mark Jenset is credited]
So with that being said, Mystery Card does breathe new life into this bits and gags as well as adding some originality. So 4 of the effects are exactly as MagiCard, so sit tight there for a moment. Hektor offers a new handling of 1089 that I have not seen before. The other effects are a mixture of new handling on an old principle such as the "37" and "Triangle/Circle". Love the QR code reveal built into this! Not going to say what effect it's for as you're going to need to find out on your own. There are 2 really nice card forces on the back as well as the classic "No" gag. And finally, there's a really neat country force to replace that darn Denmark bit that anyone who has watched a Rick Lax video knows. There are 10 pages of notes to go over all the effects making this thicker than what USPS deems flat. Well written. Proper crediting throughout. Only one qualm! The credit card numbers are not raised, but most major cc companies are straying from that anyways, but until it's a norm, it is out of place. Overall rating 9.5/10. Great to use in lieu of MagiCard or in addition to.

I have both the Mystery Card and the Mystery Calendar. I really like both of them. They are terrific Swiss Army Knife utility cards for mentalists. I have been carrying around the No Diary Diary by Chris Congreave so that I can do a Chronologue routine out of my wallet. I like it, but the Mystery Calendar takes up much less space in my already jammed Infinity wallet. Instead of two plastic cards and either five playing cards or billets, you can do the effect with one plastic card and one playing card. Plus there's a whole lot more on the Mystery Calendar card for a lower price. It's an excellent value. I'm looking forward to getting version 2 of the Mystery Card.

I got the calendar and was disappointed when I found out the main effect in the video was edited and not as clean in real life. I was also disappointed in the documentation, it is not well written (I realize English is not Hektor's native language), coupled with small print and crammed into as small a document as possible, my eyes glazed over as I tried to read and decipher it. In this case a video would have been much better or would make a good supplement. There are a good amount of effects, several attributed to name creators.

Fisanick1, thanks for the comment. I am happy that you like the Mystery Card and Mystery Calendar. I also bough the No Diary Diary some years ago and it is nice, but I didn't like that I should have in my wallet 2 calendars and 5 playing cards just for a single effect. that's why I created the Mystery Calendar where you can do many more effects with just a single pocket calendar (and as you see the quality of the plastic material is better, and also the price is much better).
About the Mystery Card - you will like the new version Mystery Card v.2 where 4 more effects are included and the booklet with the instructions is better. By the way - did you saw in the topic about the Mystery Card v.2 that there is 25 % OFF the price for people who also have the first version? Please contact me by email for details. Tony Iacoviello, thank you for your comment too!! Till now your comment is the first negative which I received so I really want to help you to feel better if something is not Ok for you. What you mean with "the main effect in the video was edited"? In youtube was uploaded 2 videos with full performances of some of the effects. Please tell me which effect you note as the "main", because in both products Mystery Card (v.2) and Mystery Calendar are included total of more than 20 effects. Also - if the size of the serif in the instructions is small for you - I can send you PDF file via email where you can read all on your desktop or to print it with bigger size.
