I have owned a Majiloon SINGLE for about a year and a half. For the first year it was fantastic, I used it for many 2 hour+ gigs and it did great for the full time. Most of the gigs I do I am only using it for an average of 45 minutes but there is also a weekly 1.5 hour seasonal gig I do.
After about a year of using it with this frequency, it would run out of "juice" after about 30-45 minutes. I emailed DJ and he told me to get some silicone lubricant for the compressor, I did that but still had the same experience. Finally I decided to try a new battery, I found a store in my area called Batteries Plus Bulbs and got a new battery. Unfortunately I am still having the same experience. Especially with certain color balloons that seem more dense than other colors, like Ruby Red for example. Does this mean my compressor is shot? What should I do? Any ideas or has anyone had a similar experience? Should I get a Majiloon Double? The only thing I know that might have caused this was 1) frequent and regular use over time OR 2) when I blow up a 6" geo when making a flower I tend to blow it up in spurts as it inflates around the pinch twist, could using it in spurts/jakes cause the compressor to go out? |

I have two double Majiloons. If I ever have a problem with them, I call DJ. I've sent them to him and he fixes them. Try calling him.
I can't say whether the problem is the single, as I don't have any experience with that. |
