I ordered but am not happy that it can only be triggered via remote. That seems to limit its usefulness in my opinion.

^ have to agree. Kind of a deal breaker for me.
To have to carry an extra something somewhat defeats the purpose for me as I was expecting something completely self contained within the watch. Would have been great if they had integrated both options like the original VAPR. Oh well. Im sure it's great and many will get a lot of use out of it (and will appreciate the remote control only function)....but after much anticipation, I'm going to have to pass on it. On the plus side, I just got a new IWC Pilot watch for my bday and xmas so life is still pretty good! |

I am not sure what trigger other than a remote can be used.
Gestures are not reliable and even with a programmable delay, going to the watch mid-routine can be a tell. Plus, it involves bringing the hand together. I am note sure what other triggers can work for this scenario. The original was concealed. This is out in the open. For this particular case, I think having a remote will make things more reliable and natural. Under the arm hookup or some other setup will actually make this much more deceptive in my opinion. Plus, I believe the misdirection is powerful when they are staring at your hand with the watch and with no motion or any tell, you control the smoke. You can pump more if you need. You can cut it off if needed. I really feel the remote is the best way to go and I will be putting my order in very soon. |

^agreed, I was actually hoping that it would be activated by any other means than going to the watch, so a remote is perfect. This way you don't have to time out when you want the smoke to come out in your routine, and now you can control how much or how little smoke you want to come out.
That's actually the main reason that I didn't want the lynx watch in the first place. I never wanted to bring my hands together and do any unmotivated actions. In my opinion, this is a huge upgrade, the remote is the main selling point for me. If I plan on performing that day, I'll wear the remote, if not, I can just use it as a regular watch. The fact that the watch looks great and is functional is just icing on the cake. I'm sold.. I'll be putting my order in next paycheck. Btw, Will, how many refill cartridges come in a pack? Thanks |

Hmm.. For me I'll still stick with my Lynx Smart Watch Version (which is my favorite).
The amount of smoke from the Lynx Watch still great and fit perfectly my needs ! Bare in minds that the sound is not an issue at all with Lynx Watch (so do not believe this one has this best selling point). About the activating, I love the way I can activate my watch with Lynx Smoke and I never had any problem with it since it's the most direct way to activate smoke IN A PROFESSIONAL SITUATION! This is when you know that a product is good or not, testing it in a professional environment, and for me : PASS for LYNX ! Do we need to talk about the remote? Just one question: Is it really necessary ? WHY? After all, for me it's a downside, the activating with body is far reliable and workable than a remote activating! About the refills? I don't like the fact to buy cartridges again and again, with Lynx Smoke, I buy one refill and I can use it for so many performances and it's very cheap considering quality and quantity. BTW, thanks for Lynx company offering 2 years guarantee for the product, yes we are talking about a product that cost more than 250$, so I want a good quality service! 3 months? hm... Considering some bad feedbacks about Vape and their firsts batchs... Just my 3 cents

Can you give us the width x height x depth of the watch please? The only reason why I haven't bought it so far is because I think this watch will be also to huge for me. I also have the Lynx Smart Watch which is way too big for my wrist. I want to compare if your's would look less strange on my wrist. |

Agree that I would have preferred a non-remote feature. Feel a remote kind of goes against the purpose of such a product, although I understand why some may want it. I just didn't get why they wouldn't include both options.
Oh well, will wait until mine arrives |

How long does the refill cartridge last in the watch? Will the watch be ready to perform assuming it was refilled few days earlier and not used or lightly used?
Also, I might have missed this but does VAPR watch use standard watch battery? |

I think the 300 are only for the early shipping in January. The campaign cut off in Feb as per their page.

They said in their latest newsletter that they will be emailing the top 300 individually over the weekend. So it seems if one gets the private email, they are in the top 300. Otherwise, they are not.

We should all refrain from purchasing until they clarify this major issue. We cant risk NOT being part of the first 300 as god knows when we will be delivered our watch...

I really hope they address the 300 backers issue, when the next batch will be ready for those not in the first 300, and the other question about how long will the refill last if the watch is left for dew days with usage.
It is the new year and the weekend so I expect someone from Sans Minds will chime in in the next few days. |
