I hadn't heard this before and couldn't find any posts regarding it, but I just heard that Gary Kosnitzky passed away early in 2016. I recently sent Gary an email and his nephew responded with the news. I didn't personally know Gary but had corresponded briefly with him and have high respect for his work with the Hindu cups. Best wishes to his family in this new year.

That's sad. I never met him, but I did love watching the videos of him performing Cheppum Panthum. Very talented performer. Rest in peace Gary.

Was he still sitting on a pile of Cervon's Castle Notebooks?

It seemed like he spent several years constantly trying to sell a lot of copies of them...

Did Gary ever finish his book on Cheppum Panthum? And if so, is it for sale anywhere?

Gary did finish his book but I believe it's only available with a set of shells. Both Vanishing Inc. and Penguin are showing that they have them in stock.

I'm sorry to learn this. I feared that he had passed away. It appears that it happened sometime close to the same time I went through my cardiac bypass surgery. He was very dedicated to the Cheppum Panthum routine.
