I'm not the best salesperson and I would never use the line for Adults but actually, for Kids "Do you want to see some Magic?" works fine.
I've done it. They're Kids, what are they going to say, NO? Sometimes dumb luck is better than skill. LOL -Mary Mowder |

Hi Mary,,,I inferred, perhaps incorrectly, that he was going to walk up to the parent(s) and ask that question, in the middle of the party.
I also inferred that the manager of the party facility had liked the idea, and was considering offering the opportunity of a magic show as a part of the party package. I would assume, (I know! "assume" makes an ass of you and me!) that the manager would consider adding a fee to the party package, for the performer. It might be a "freebie" or introductory feature. Even if the manager, and the performer are just testing the potential, it would be, IMO, a bit awkward for the performer to approach the client, cold. The manager, IMO, should offer the magic show, "on the house". With all the other possibilities, if it were me, and I was just breaking in, I would plan on a 12-15 minute set. With experience, this could be lengthened.
