Howdy!
I wanted to share this latest piece of magic with you from Geraint Clarke. It's a staple piece of Geraint's repertoire and mine. JackBlack is something he's been working on for years and after a video of it being performed was shared online, with feedback so overwhelming, he's had his arm twisted into tipping the work on it. I'll let the performance speak for itself. here's the performance and ad copy: JackBlack by Geraint Clarke "JackBlack is a devastatingly fair, handsfree Blackjack demonstration. You can control who wins or loses without ever touching the deck.... and the spectator can shuffle multiple times. Fairly dealing you or themselves either winning or losing hands. You control luck. - Handsfree - Normal Deck - No Deck Switches - Spectator Shuffles However, This isn't a surefire trick that you can perform over and over again, with the same boring outcome. The great thing about this, is that it never fails, but double Blackjack is one of the best outcomes. In this download Geraint will talk you through his presentation to ensure the odds of hitting Blackjack are significantly stacked in your favor, and how to recover the trick if they fairly deal themselves a different hand. He will also teach you his subtleties on how to predict exactly what card they'll need to Win. Confirming you knew what they would deal all along. Developed over years of real-world performance, we welcome you to the first of the 'Park Cottage Sessions'. This is JackBlack. Learn The Secret TODAY." Learn It Now: JackBlack by Geraint Clarke |

Seems interesting. I really loved Peter Turner's Psyche recently and I'm really interested in this... any information?

Very simple method which is very effective! Geraint teaches it very well covering everything you need to know.
Also, this could easily be set up on the fly if you know the mother of all cars moves (in my opinion anyway.) Again, it's very simple but it will look as you see on the video. No funny moves, the magician never touches the deck. You win the first round, they win the second round. It's quite good! I'm afraid some people will be let down because of the simplicity of the method, but don't be let down. It's a positive. It's only recently that people think simple is bad in magic. This is simple, but will fool whoever sees it. Great work Geraint! I like it and I will use it. It's a very nice gambling demonstration which doesn't last ages. |

I agree with Madison, really easy to do, nothing hard to remember, and I think a good opener, until I can do the road runner
i will def use it, and once taught, I think it will stick for life. there's nothing not to like about it really. |

Well, I have seen the video today and I am absolutely clueless...
For me it actualy looks too good to be true... Don't get me wrong, I see this as a good thing! I just can't imagine a way that this absolutely fair way THEY handle the cards can lead to this result... If it is an ordinary Deck that is shuffled in between, every card the deal, or do not deal makes a dfifference... if they deal one card more or less, it changes the game... I am definitivey willing to look into this one, if it really is a sure shot! If this works every time, then, this effect is GOLD, and I WILL get it!! Looks like great work! Anyone can clarify this yet? |

Hello Getaint
Having seen the demo , you have applied a simple method in a really nice way .. Given the level of Set up required I feel the outcome is not as strong as other effects I have with the same level of set up . For most hobbiest guys they will not have the card skill level to set this up on the fly and perform it impromptu . Given the effect is a gambling theme on black jack what happens when you ask a spectator to shuffle and they use a more appropriate Shuffle for gambling than the one in the demo ? Regards Andrew |

I really like this effect. Having bought the download, I loved the 'you will need' segment to set it up. Found myself hyperventilating at the thought!

I haven't got this yet. It looks great and I really like working with this theme. The vibes I'm getting so far is that this is a heavy set up and not suitable for walkaround. I would love to work this into what I do but this might put me off.

@MadisonH:
I just downloaded it and like it. What I don#t like, that You have to be somehow "prepared". You write You could setup on the fly "if You know the mother of all cars moves"... I don't know it ;( What is it? Sounds good...Where can I find it???? Best whishes Leslie Quote:
