Do you think fighting them over there is a bad thing? Why wait to repel? Was WWII a mistake?

Anyhow, it will never do well on Americas Got Talent until you make it entertaining at the same time.

I think it's ridiculous to give billions in handouts, I mean aid packages, to ANY country, when we have to borrow millions a day to pay the interest on the billions we borrowed to fight these wars for profit. I think in a world where vague lip service is paid to the concept of peace, then the military needs enemies, just as the police need criminals. I think the war on terror, much like the war on drugs, is largely manufactured. We've been fighting these wars for decades and we have more of both than ever. Do you really think we need such a massive war machine to fight against enemies that have what are essentially biplanes and muskets when compared to what we possess? Many of the countries that are such a "threat" can't provide reliable electricity or clean water, despite existing for thousands of years in some cases. Do you really think we couldn't find the money to spend on our problems? If so, why don't we? Simple, fair questions.

You obviously know nothing of research and development. But that is another discussion.
But the problem with war is you have to be ready. This costs money. Being ready for things that hopefully never happen. But being Ready often means that you don't have to fight that war. It is easy to pick and pc to do so. Everyone does. But we can't be isolationist. It simply does not work.

Never said anything about isolationism.
The debt is approaching twenty trillion, and the middle class is disappearing. This makes sense to you?

Torturers are moral-less, inhumane, criminals. The only question that remains is how we go about bringing them to justice.

That magicians feel a need to teach people how to find the truth is funny.

I think they've pretty much always been about our rational self-interest. As Tonto says in the joke, "What you mean our rational self-interest, white man?" Zero to do with the interests of the majority of Americans. If one wanted to brainstorm the ways to increase terrorism and decrease national security, it would very likely look exactly like the war policy of the last 16 years. This idea that what is good for the elites is good for the majority of Americans is a really pernicious and persistent idea that needs to be challenged.

Public works projects, fine. Giveaways to private entities to take the assets and run, not so much.
