There is an interesting thing on the BBC News Night about this new tech which apparently puts words into people’s mouths and looks very real. I will try and find a link later.

What they were showing was amazing. Like digital Mission Impossible masks which you can put on of anybody and hey presto now you are them.
The speakers such as Simon Blackburn made some interesting points about the implications of it.

Stand on Zanzibar, a novel from the 1970s had this feature in cable TV put the subscribers into the shows.

Just saw a clip of Trump commenting on Putin on Saturday Night Live... then found it was a real interview today... then wondered if it's difficult to dub in the lyrics from that song with the line "dynamite with a laser beam, guaranteed to blow your mind, anytime". Would that make it better or worse? More or less true even if it didn't happen that way?
