How do you join the fb group. You must provide 3 answers.
1. "send me a message with proof of purchase." What proof do they need? 2. "Telling me the video password is not proof of purchase". So what is the proof they need? 3. "What are the force cards and what colour is your deck?" Is this info enough to join? ... |

I finally purchased this and received it last week. I read through every page of this thread and it was rather entertaining.
As for 'marking' my orientation, I just use the edge of the box where the end of the outer black paper meets at the 90 degree angle corner and there is a slight protruding edge that is easy to feel. If I were to do the presentation shown to us in the tutorial for the supplied card deck prediction, I would go with telling the spectator to deal until they want to stop versus having them select a number. Having them select and predetermine a number to deal to feels like less of a free choice to me, whereas just stopping when they feel like it makes it feel like it was all their decision. I think the product is well made, and after a bit of tweaking it seems to work as intended. I do have one side that part of it seems a little long and catches, perhaps I can just trim that down with an xacto. I don't use Facebook, so I won't see any of the tips and ideas there, is there anywhere else that you share some of these ideas that is accessible to someone that avoids FB? No worries, if not. Thanks Angelo, I am very happy that I picked this up, although it is a bit later than released. |

Thank you rbromley! Glad you are pleased. I too use the edge of the paper at one corner as my guide.
As for the Facebook group, I highly recommend you create a dummy Facebook account just to join magic Facebook groups. There are plenty. You don't have to post anything at all in your dummy Facebook account. Just use it as a means of joining groups.

I've actually decided to go with beautiful gold letters that are on a black background spell out my name on the box it looks absolutely beautiful and I tell people that this was a gift from My Wife and she personalized it. And of course each letter represents one of the cards. I know this would not be for everyone but I thought long and hard about it and when I saw these beautiful gold letters I went ahead and decided on it. I also felt it was well within the realm of possibility that someone would personalize a gift box not that it was needed for this effect I can honestly say it certainly was not but this really does make at least my gift box look personalized as well as adding a nice look to the Box itself. And let me just say adding the extra something to the TT has really improved the workings on this.

I totally love the suggestion Gaz made for using this with Mike Rose's The Grail, it leaves you with a 100% examinable deck that is not gaffed. A perfect combination.

Finally getting around to exploring mine since purchased in 2017. Are better TT gimmicks being offered in the more later releases?

If you set it up as instructed and make any necessary tweaks, it works flawlessly!

Hated the tt activation with this. Not fond of tt’s in general. Have found that you can place the activating device in nearby objects. Moving the box with correct orientation near the prepared object works amazingly well. Using this approach and developing a routine where the activator object makes sense within the context of the routine has made all the difference to me. This is a great little box.

Another great idea that I found on this thread is to put a gift box bow on top of the lid with a strong m..be. inside of it.
I personally have a tiny m..gne. on the underside of the box lid too so it doesn’t move around. When you go to take the lid off you just move the bow where needed and it’s all done without any thumbling around Gaz 😊 |

Great idea with the bow. This is what I have been toying with.
There is a lovely purity and perfection to Joshua Jay’s Inferno, but the Sankey “paperclipped” ending, for better or worse, kept me from performing. I wanted something cleaner and easier. Purists will disagree with me, but found the Gift box to be a perfect workaround. I present the Gift box, stating that it contains the prediction, and also a slightly oversized box of matches (filled with wooden matches). The large matchbox has the “activator” fixed in place at the perfect height in the back of the matchbox slidey drawer. Three wooden matches are removed from this matchbox.. The three questions are asked. The matchbox is closed and placed beside the Gift box. The spectator is then invited to open the Gift box, which has been in full view (and wrapped with rubberbands etc.) to reveal the single burnt card. The matchbox that I use is about 1” high, 1.75 “ wide and 2.75 “ in length. I made my own out of thin white cardboard. Printed out a suitable matchbox cover design and glued that to the outer shell. Glued the striking surface from another matchbox to the side. Used a stronger activator and gimmicked the bottom of the matchbox drawer to place the activator at the right height resting on some added “glued in”cardboard support. Place the match box beside the gift box. Swipe the gift box past the matchbox when handing to spectator. They find the single burnt card within. No paperclips, pocketing, unfolding or tt’s required. |

P.S…. the supplied and folded Inferno cards work perfectly with the Gift.

What if a puff of smoke rose out of the box when you opened it?
