I prefer Wayne Fox's 8 ball effect, obliter8, as it packs flatter and is a brilliant illusion. I don't think they're manufactured anymore though unfortunately.

You mentioned it's great for walk-around. How is the reset time. Does one have to go somewhere privately for a few moments?

Is the 8-ball that you receive with the trick and actual regulation size 8-ball?
I could see mixing this in with Obliterate but I would want the balls to be the same size and the ball looks like a smaller version of a standard 8-ball.

Not to be difficult, but a regulation size 8-ball is not 2" in diameter, it is 2-1/4" (as is Obliter8). This could make a difference to those who perform around pool tables with actual size balls.
I doubt this would matter when used with Obliter8 though. I could see doing the appearance with Appear-8 and then the squash move with the Obliter8 gimmick. Quote: On Feb 11, 2017, stookie31 wrote:

Just to clarify, the gimmick will remain in proper position when the EMPTY box is placed face down on a table without a deck inside?
Or does it require the weight of the cards? |

I thought of a routine for this as I was falling asleep, so I had to pre-order it first thing this morning. I'll post thoughts when it arrives!

Just received it and feel disappointed. My gimmick is poorly made, which the gimmick did not aligned well and the !@#$ did not trim well. It works, but the spectator can spot the gimmick VERY EASILY. The ads claiming that 'Precision-made gimmick' is MISLEADING.
The quality control should be better. Hope to get a replacement for it. Wilson |
