A lot of people like the VIRTS decks - they are made out in Singapore. They are nice sturdy and colorful cards, good for card tricks and those that practice visual dealing techniques.

Here is my review for them: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6ztP55vxXiU

Fontaine's are made by USPCC - so the only thing you are choosing between are color and design. "worth the money?" No. USPCC pretty much makes all their cards the same way. So a deck of Bikes off the shelf for $3 is within 90% the same deck you buy from the expensive graphic designers.

Remember, Ellusionist, Theory 11, Dan and Dave - all they are - are graphic design firms that "design" cards - but USPCC still prints all of them. They use the same paper and printing process for all their cards.

The custom cards are only a fraction better than the off the shelf versions. But are the "worth" the mark-up from $3 to $15 a deck? That's up to you.

If you want to learn more about quality of cards - watch this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t_6bD9eRfu8

If you want a cardistry deck - VIRTS is "designed" (artistically) for cardistry

If you want a magic deck - FONTAINE's - however there are way BETTER designed decks out there.

These two decks are popular among the kids though

Good luck

If you're interested in flipping the cards for profit, I think Fontaine has a better track record for increasing in value quicker. But the Virts cards also will increase in value over time as well. If you're interested in the feel of them, I think they are pretty similar. Just a matter of which design you like better Smile
