How does it compare to Gary Plant's one? http://thecardplant.com/product/the-magnetized-cards

Well, it's definitely not Gary Plant's routine, as I know both.
It is the same as per Ryan's Penguin LIVE lecture, with some extra tips and such. As for the comparison with Nucleus by Maxwell Maven, I wouldn't know as I haven't seen it. Hope this helps anyone "on the fence". All the best Aljaž |

It is different from Gary Plants and Max Mavens method and offers advantages which I don't want to say to avoid exposing theirs. And to answer Stucky question you do not have to throw cards down. They can fall from your hand on command which looks spooky. The demo didn't show it but I will lift the cards a few inches off table first and without any movement they will just fall back to the table. Then I will pick it up again to end with slamming cards down and catching the selection. You could ofcourse just let them fall softly from the hand. Up to you.

Might go good as a companion to the tiny plunger.

I like that Paul... transfer the power of the plugger to your hand. That can differently work.
Thanks for sharing. Ryan |

This uses a different method from Plants or Maven's.

I've used Maven's for a long time now, and I do like the look of this...

Can all cards be handed out after? Is there much clean-up for the performer? Not asking for method, just practicality. Thanks.

How I perform it there is no clean up. Just gather up the cards and continue into the next effect.

I really like this but would still like to know can it just be left in the deck whilst other effects are performed?

Hey aceface-
Yes it can be left in and used as a regular deck. That is how I do it. There are some specifics I can't go into here but if you get it I will be happy to discuss with you in PM. Ryan |

I just received my DVD and gimmicks. This is pretty well thought out. Among several other versions (Dual Force by Michael Vincent or Magnetized Cards by Gary Plant) this one also accomplishes what it sets out to do. I would say this has its strengths and its weaknesses buy Ryan does give you another option to pull the feat off. One thing that Ryan might address is how easily or not it would be to complete a card set while having the Mr. Lifto set up? All in all this is a very visual effect. It looks good and it works as prescribed.
