Great effect by Oberon...but there is a learning curve here. It will take some time and practice to make it look smooth and magical.

Try the Lynx wallet which only uses one wallet and any card can be named, and you xan show that the wallet only contains one envelope before the effect has begun.

I have been using the original Bang On for years and the envelopes are now pretty worn out.
I wish they will sell refill envelopes with the release of 2.0.

Bang on was in my opinion one of the cleanest "name card to wallet", it fooled me,
now with just one wallet looks even better,

One wallet (only) you think only Smile , it is and was superb, but the techniques is the same, apart you get it now in Bicycle stock which I've done so from the very beginning... Neil Lester has made the cards for me in those days, as regular bic cards and also as bics with jumbo index. Jan

I think Jan is saying there is more than 1 wallet in play...

The effect does look pretty good/clever and clean (effectively 'invisible deck' with a wallet from a spectator's view really - 1 in 52 chosen).
However, I notice that 'February' is amusingly misspelled twice in the trailer (in the 'edgy' security-camera footage, down on the left) - the first time as 'Febuary', and then the second time as 'Fubuary'!
Makes the ad more entertaining I suppose.

(Surprising perhaps for WMS who have pretty high standards generally.)

All the best,

No, I do not. Owners of the "first edition" know exactly what I mean as I pointed out the only difference to the new edition. Those who do not own any version might receive a riddle in which case I do not care as I am not going to talk about the exact working here. Jan

P. S.: this might help a bit: http://www.themagiccafe.com/forums/viewt......79475#17 ... Smile

I've owned Bang On since it first came out. It uses a system that will allow you to produce any named card quickly and in a manor that looks like you new what card they were thinking of. The problem with the cards you recieved is they used double pips and to most looked odd. The cards you needed to change them to regular looking did not exist without custom and expensive options. Refills should be made available for those that have the rest of the system.

I have not had a chance to perform this yet, but after watching the online instructional video I can tell this is big hitter. Although the price is quite steep, I believe that this is completely justified. For one Marc won the FISM Championships using this effect as a corner of his routine. Another point relating to the price I would like to make is the wallet, which is made to a very high quality and I believe justifies the majority of the controversial pricing on its own. Plus a high price keeps out the merely curious. In a nutshell I highly recommend this product just because of it's 100% accuracy and how clean it is.

p.s. I mentioned "the wallet" I am not implying that this only uses one wallet, however I am not implying that it uses multiple wallets either Smile

Regards,
Tom

I never said it uses only one wallet. I never said it uses multiple wallets.

I own the original Bang On (1.0). In version 1.0 the spectator sees only one wallet;
How many wallets the version 2.0 has, I don't know.
However, I'm pretty sure it will be no more than 52 wallets.
Two supplemental wallets for the jokers would be rediculous and overkill.

That's where your wrong, V2 actually has 75 wallets. The reason being is it gets rid of the problem that every magician who performs this effect has. When the spectator says: Blank Card, Double Backer, Double Facer, Split card etc. 16 of the wallets also include top marketed gimmicks like flap cards just to cover those times where a spectator says: "A flap card." It happens more that you think.

75 wallets. That explains why the box is so big.
However, this reveals the secret of the trick and that is shameless.
The only excuse you can argue, is your pitiful number of posts and the fact that you do not know that you should not do that.
I ask the administrators very politely to remove Tom Wong’s post immediately!
