Take a look at the same topic in the Tech Help forum. There's a very good solution posted there.
As far as a spell checker here, we already have them. Humans! 
Seriously though, there are no plans to offer a spell checker here at the Café.
Somebody kick me off the computer, will ya?

You can add spill chucking
to your Internet Explorer at
http://www.iespell.com Other web browsers may have similar hook in apps.
