We sit in the house, and slowly the world we are living in is getting smaller, and all we say is: 'Please, at least leave us alone in our living rooms. Let me have my toaster and my TV and my steel-belted radials and I won't say anything. Just leave us alone.'

Why do you have steel belted radials in your living room. I just had to say that. Smile

I think the control and manipulation by the CIA, FBI, FED, ABC, NBC, CNN, FOX, etc. has gone way too far, and WikiLeaks is just starting to unveil some of it.

Unfortunately, we have not heeded the warnings of JFK from his "Secret Society" speech or Eisenhower's warnings of the military industrial complex.

I'm hopeful we may move some things in the right direction regarding illegal immigration (Los Angeles County alone spends over a billion dollars per year on illegal health care alone.). That whole mess was part of these covert activities to keep tax payers in the dark while wealthy republicans AND democrats got cheap illegal labor and illegal votes.

If our government ran like an efficient private sector business, and the CIA did their job, instead of their covert activities to support wealthy insiders, we would be rolling in dough. We wouldn't have to try to figure out where the money is going to come from for health care, education, roads, etc. It's already there.

Do a search on youtube for the congressional hearing about the 9 trillion dollars that went missing from the Fed or the trillions that go missing from the Pentagon every year.

These covert activities like the ones WikiLeaks is revealing are at the core of this problem.

Good job WikiLeaks! Keep the info coming.

Re: Spending, efficiency, and dough....California a while back had a very illustrative decade - over a 10-year period (sorry; don't have the year's, but it was 199x-200x), the state went from a budget surplus to a deficit when the population increased 20%, revenue increased 30%, and spending increased 40%. They've been trying to "solve" it by raising taxes ever since.

Guess they forgot to tell Bill Buckley.

From what I can understand, the NSA has collected multiple cyberattack techniques, codes and malware used by other countries, including Russia. Which gives them the ability mask their own hacking and cyberattacks, giving the impression that those foreign entities did the hacking.

So what is being attributed by the medias as Russian hacking, may very well not be. Plus you’ve got to ask yourself: If the Russians are such experts, why would they be so foolish as to leave a “footprint” linking them to the hack?

The elementary purpose of psychological warfare is, of course, to conquer the people by making then believe the powers that be are God.
If there is a single truth about Magic, it is that nothing on earth so efficiently evades it.

It was funny on SNL as a brand of perfume. See HIVE process. It's not just your VPN/IP anonymizer - it's a method.

Quote:
HIVE

HIVE is a multi-platform CIA malware suite and its associated control software. The project provides customizable implants for Windows, Solaris, MikroTik (used in internet routers) and Linux platforms and a Listening Post (LP)/Command and Control (C2) infrastructure to communicate with these implants.

The implants are configured to communicate via HTTPS with the webserver of a cover domain; each operation utilizing these implants has a separate cover domain and the infrastructure can handle any number of cover domains.

Each cover domain resolves to an IP address that is located at a commercial VPS (Virtual Private Server) provider. The public-facing server forwards all incoming traffic via a VPN to a 'Blot' server that handles actual connection requests from clients. It is setup for optional SSL client authentication: if a client sends a valid client certificate (only implants can do that), the connection is forwarded to the 'Honeycomb' toolserver that communicates with the implant; if a valid certificate is missing (which is the case if someone tries to open the cover domain website by accident), the traffic is forwarded to a cover server that delivers an unsuspicious looking website.

The Honeycomb toolserver receives exfiltrated information from the implant; an operator can also task the implant to execute jobs on the target computer, so the toolserver acts as a C2 (command and control) server for the implant.

Similar functionality (though limited to Windows) is provided by the RickBobby project.
See the classified user and developer guides for HIVE

Which is how they try to solve every problem; in between giving out tax breaks and handing out subsidies and contracts.

The whole thing is a joke.

Call it increased cost of doing business, compound entitlement, entropy or... what you like. The hook is set. It will hurt to pull it out along that path.

No misdirection sir.

You simply posted: I'll wait for the video.
I simply responded with: "Don't hold your breath waiting for the video." The reason as you well know is because there is no video and I would not want you to turn blue and get sick and possibly have breathing issues. I would hate to be the one responsible. In other words. You trash talked and I gave it back. Touche seems an appropriate response. Again don't hold your breath. Just looking out for you. Smile

That's a big assumption.

By now the hook has become "facial jewelry", and is worn proudly. Smile

I'm enjoying this latest bureaucratic jargon turned over to reveal... more layers of Intreaging detail.

Language is telling.

Tempting to ask if the spending bills use similar language.

It is difficult to understand the details, especially when you cannot, or will not, see the big picture.
