I placed my first order with Penguin Magic in July of 2002.
Never had a problem in 20 years. All issues, which were few, were resolved.
Guilt will betray you before technique betrays you!

I too have only had good experiences w/ Penguin. My most recent purchase arrived w/ a defect and was not realized till Christmas day - emailed them and got an automated response that day which was reasonable. Got a "live" email 2 days latter and a replacement in less than a week.
And yes, I really like the "deck of cards packing tape" |

Absolutely great service, that’s my experience, and backup, also the free postage to the UK on many items is soooo good.

Yes, a slightly old thread but I'm afraid that Penguin Magic's good customer service has all changed now and not for the better...especially if you want to return or cancel something, going thru it with them currently.
Their communication is dismal. I opted for a store credit instead of a refund and the code they gave me did not work. No response after that. Have asked for a refund now. No replies. And I've ordered from them for a long time with minimal issues. May be time to ditch them altogether. |
