One of my heroes. He perfected the art of insulting with love. One of a kind. I miss him already.

Don Rickles had the funniest Frank Sinatra story ever told:

Watch the Sinatra video in the link. Priceless. Smile

This is the funniest sequence I've ever seen him do.

My ex-cat was named "Muffin". "Vomit" would be a better name for her. AKA "The Evil Ball of Fur".

Last night Antenna TV played a re-run of a 90-minute Johnny Carson show from 1976. It was Rickles, Glen Campbell, Dom DeLuise, and Jimmy Breslin. It was pandemonium, but Johnny always came out on top, with a close second from Rickles.

Hysterical.

I wonder if he could get away with that today. You'd think he couldn't in this PC world, but his personality was so large that I don't know.

I think Rickles, being the institution that he is, could have withstood any PC trend. If he were just coming on to the scene in 2017...I don't know, that's a good question. Would be a lot harder, no doubt, but if anyone could do it, it would be him.
