Hi all,
I am busy preparing this just now and wondered if anyone is or has used it and had comments good or bad. Its very clever and I have high hopes for it. Regards Alan |

Wayman the effect is that a large book is handed out to a spec and they chose any word on any page, no cards forces, forced numbers.
She writes it down and puts the paper in their hand, purse, tee shirt if your lucky. You then flick through the book pages in a very fair and honest manner, then immediately divine the word under seemingly impossible circumstances. It works great for me and the punters cant believe it. Regards Alan From Al Korans Legacy by Hugh Miller. |

It works for me, too. Nice gimmick, and easy to make three or four and offer the participant a free choice. (Nice idea is to leave the "reduced price" sticker on the page so it looks as though you've just picked up a bundle from the bargain Book Store!)Although rubber cement is suggested, i use Spray mount.

a lecturer i heard(cannot remember who) suggested the gimmick should be on the back of the book to make it less suspicious

That would involve asking the spec to.... or turning the book over myself which doesnt make any sense, if done correctly regarding angles etc, its not possible to see anything.
