I saw this on Wizard wars ball penetrating a tennis racket with strings attached. Is it a brand new effect?

Did you actually see "all" the strings attached, before and after the penetration.

Come on, you are really easy to think video snippets are real life events. You really want to believe, don't you. You really have to stop watching magic YouTube videos.

How many people were standing around the racket. Who could see the effect from all angles.

I suggest you contact Justin Flom.

The effect was performed by Greg Dow and Sean Scott. It was Sean Scott who was holding the racket in wizard wars.
He showed the racket after the ball penetrated with strings attached. I think it is not a normal racket.
Justin Flom I think may not be affiliated with this trick.

You posted that video reference, I was referring to your reference. Being you know all the parties in involved, all you do is contact them. I am assuming you want to purchase their effects.

Here I thought Bill was making a pun (all the strings) (I'll have to save that line for a floating tennis racquet)

Anyway, as a tennis player, I like the effect (unfortunately that "effect" is sometimes how my playing feels like). But as Bill implied, it was probably some good old fashion camera magic. Still, I'm tempted to get a friend who does racquet stringing to make me a gimmicked racquet with an old racquet (which could *look* reasonably normal) and a special tennis ball would also help.. just don't try to play a set with either! In fact, don't let anyone make a close inspection of either.

The ball through racquet was something Bizarro came up with for Wizard Wars. Yes, the show was not real, just like all reality shows. It's not a camera trick. It's also not anything for sale.

I would be interested in this as well.
I used to play competitive tennis in college and USTA tournaments, but now I just play with my kids and friends.
It would be cool to pull this out on the court.
I have the sponge tennis balls but I haven't put anything together yet.
Please keep us posted if you hear when it may be available.
Thanks,
Ihor

Does anyone have a link to the Wizard Wars performance for this?
I can't seem to find it on Youtube.
There are too many WW videos.
The OP just links to a quick few seconds.

Randirain,
That was interesting.
The tennis racquet was exactly what I was looking for. It looked normal with strings.
Bizzaro said it's a normal tennis racquet and we all know that magicians don't lie.
It wasn't clear from the video. Did Bizzaro say it was available for sale or that it wasn't?
Thanks
