... after a long, wet, fall, winter and spring finally some nice weather, the White Rock economy, many Restaurants , Bars etc. needs good weather to survive!!
finally we have some.
Nice to see people coming out. Like to close our sets with the rings, my pretty basic routine always seems to fit well with strollers on the Promenade.

Very nice Nala... I've had an 8" set of rings for 35 years. Worked on various ring moves and routines, but have never performed with them... makes me realize I need to get going!

Hey Nala(!),
Great seeing you out there!
The hands are looking good.

I'm happy for you.

As a seasoned 'fan', however,
....two things ARE missing.

1.) The Star of the Show.
2.) A Train.

,...i guess the season is young.
,..you're just out,...'warming up'. 😊

I really enjoy seeing Linking Rings, on the Streets.
I've read parts of Pete Biro's Linking Ring book;
'the rings' have more tradition on the Streets,
then Cups n' Balls(!).
I was amazed to read,
the first Rings were actually porcellan!

Have a fine day, Compadre!

Good morning Gallagher!

... Yes, I know the "star" has been missing, she has been working on a new extended version of her rope routine.
We want to video it but a couple of little wrinkles she's trying to smooth out. it's "Coming Soon"!
And actually we did get another kind of a cute train clip, ... and this time it was a tie! (the group stayed and watched as the White Rock Express
Coal car thundered by) again it was of me. She grabs the cell-cam every time I do anything. But the video plays vertically not horizontally
(it's viewable if you tip your head to the side) I'm tired of seeing my videos want more of hers. She is definitely the star of our show.
As someone on our pitch said " .. "you're good, but it's your daughter everyone comes to see!"
I'm happy with that. We do well in our "hats" ... but that is not why we do this. When we're down there performing together that is our entertainment!
I am so fortunate to be able to do this with her! It's our bonding time! We both love it!
Ling' says Hi to you both!

Very nice Nola.

Funny thing, I looked to your left...and thought there was a Crate Slug/Statue working the Pitch next to you.

It was a while before I realized...... it is a real Statue. lol

Maybe you should put a hat in front of it for a bit of extra bonus cash Smile

Your work was great. What I could see if it. Cameraperson kept swinging from you to the crowd which was pretty far away. I found the constant swinging back and forth distracting.
"There's no time to lose," I heard her say.
"Catch your dreams before they slip away."
"Dying all the time, lose your dreams and you could lose your mind.
Ain't life unkind?"
