Haven't watched WPR yet and just got the effect, and have barely watched the video. Hopefully I'll have a chance this weekend.
But my first impression is that I like it. Along the lines of what I had imagined but a simpler (and therefore, a better) method than what I had in mind. The fact that they give you all 4 sections already made up and ready to go straight out of the box is a real big plus. Yes, audience management is certainly required if you wish to do the change in their hand but I don't see this as being a big deal. If it's an issue for you, then I guess you could just do the change in your hand. It's just as visual and doesn't lose that much IMO anyway. Remains to be seen how well it can hold up and if it will last, and also if the overall effect garners a good enough reaction to warrant messing with it. But so far I see a lot of potential and have high hopes for it. The fact that it comes all ready to go and is well made (and you get 4 of them, each a quarter of a card) makes it something that I don't think too many purchasers are going to be disappointed when they receive it. As I get more into it and if some real negatives start to show up then I will report back. But I can say that if I would have been able to see this in person first, like at a dealer demo, I still would have purchased it. And I think that says something for it. It is a very cool gimmick, but also very useable as well, at least it would seem so at first glance. But still too early to give it my final evaluation. So far, so good, which is more than I can say about a lot of effects I have purchased lately. |

I think it looks pretty cool. The point on WMR was that the visual change although cool looking, may not be more magical then the unseen change in in David Williamson's trick which is essentially the same.

That may be true. Haven't played with it enough to know yet. But then again, I may not use it in that context anyway.
I just feel at this early stage that it has potential to be turned into something very good. But we'll see. |

Hi
I received it and I am happy with. videoman said it very well. Having said that, I doubt that I will be using it regularly. I do walk around and I don't think this is great for that type of situation. I've been working on adding this to DW's trick and I believe I have found a way to use it. For those interested, shoot me a PM and I can share my idea. I really like David Williamsons routine and I don't see myself changing it. However, I have a filming crew with me at my next 3 gigs and I want to add some visual moments when possible. Overall, I am very satisfied with my purchase. Compared to other things on the market it is relatively inexpensive for what you get. |

I ordered it on the strength of a recommendation from Devin Knight who is usually spot on about the practicality of various effects. As stated above, I expect there's a bit of audience management involved, which any experienced performer must be able to do. All effects have limitations. As I hear doubts and complaints I wonder aloud, "What are you expecting? Real magic?"

(Interesting review, from MoM purchaser)
I have mixed feelings about this one. Despite the Gimmick being ready made and an instructional video on how to make your own customised ones, I have given this a skill level of 4. The gimmick is self-working, the difficulty is working it into a routine. Basic palming can introduce it but it's not straightforward for beginners. One performance idea is demonstrated but there is no substance to it and obviously the gimmick cannot be examined. There are a couple of other issues which would make this ideal for video but it would require good audience management to pull it off live. Having said that I have been racking my brain to come up with a routine to do the gimmick justice. |

I like this a lot, I think it is capable of a lot more than the routine shown and have various ideas already.
My initial thoughts are to just use 1 gimmick piece and do a transposition with another or to use 2 gimmick pieces and have them switch places. The gimmicks are simple and easy to make and I'm amazed how well they work, I was expecting something far more complex which would be hard to make yourself. If you like visual changes and transpositions you should like this, its a good solid release that brings something new to the market. Warning, its not real magic so don't expect it to do all the work for you, the gimmick is self working but you have to do the rest which is not hard by any stretch.

I never listen to the World Magic Product review anymore. They never review their own products and they now have ego's which are bigger than the product. Rather than give advice they talk a load of dribble and have a points system.
Alakazam have a better review with extra advice which is good Saturn Magic also are getting there with great indepth reviews. |

WPR was only ever good when Craig Petty was on there anyway imho . David Penn is a brilliant magician though but the rest are just up themselves . Many of their workers of week are just plain rubbish . Best wishes Tarik 😊

Agreed
When Craig Petty was on , he gave honest reviews and was passionate about and spoke about all aspects of it It's a shame as I always relied on them . Now it's just mediocre at best |

Check out my performance https://youtu.be/qkz1VL-8h7Y
Love the idea and loved the trick too, the only thing I dislike about this ,is the the sound it creates while the change is happening... |

So does this come with gimmicks are do you have to make your own?

Both: it comes with a few gimmicks, and some material to make your own.
