Been trying to get back into performing after raising kids for the last 20 years. Just recently found this site and PenguinMagic (spending too much there). Thought I'd post this video in the interest of sharing ideas and improving my skills. I always loved McCombical deck and have done that a few times, but I really hate card tricks on stage. Or at least I think changing from cards to somethign else is more exciting. For example, Celebrity Smart A** is much better IMO than the original.

Nice performance, and great idea to use Broadway posters. But I think this effect is more mental magic and not pure mentalism, because the select get changed, and changing cards is not a skill a mentalist should have. but great routine, and audience loved it! keep up the great work!

Good job! Congrats on getting back into performing! While the effect itself is not mentalism per se, the application of the playbills to a card effect is very relevant. Good idea with the playbills.
